I've sent for info. I'm curious. Approx how much a month not counting maintenance? Any tips for newbee? We can get away MAYBE one week to Disney World and one long weekend...two if close by. We are in Western NY one hour S of Buffalo. We have a 3 and 7 year old? Sounds like a plan this Club. Would I get enough use? Plan to have more time in five year from now or so. Own own bus. THANKS!princess: princess:

not sure what exactly your asking, but if your referring to dues after purchase, I just changed mine to monthly, I pay 79.16 a month for maintenance for 225 points at the VWL. This amount of points is working perfect, but - we have been staying only 4-5 day trips once - twice a year, one in a studio and one in a 1br. I know the studio is getting tuff, so a 1-br or 2 br with the 2 kids is more realistic. I think 250-275 points would be perfect, that would change my maintenace up approx 18.00 per month.

I'm assuming you are asking how much per month if you finance your initial purchase. This depends on how many points you buy and how you decide to finance. If you go to the various resale sites ( Timeshare store is one listed at the top of this page ) you can get a feel for how much it would cost you to buy into DVC via resale and work the numbers for yourself. You need to look at what size accomodation you will need and determine the points required to book this. You might want to read the DVC FAQs here on the boards also to give you more of a background on how DVC works. You can also buy SSR resort directly from Disney with financing up to 10 years. Remember though, the dues over the lifetime of your contract will amount to way more than the inital purchase price.
