Just returned from WDW and we had a wonderful time. The weather was great and the parks were EMPTY! We walked right on to Space Mountain at 1 in the afternoon Friday!!! Saturday was the only sorta crowded day but even then not really. But Saturdays always pick up. The CM's we spoke to said it has been dead since kids went back to school especially during the week. The only time we needed fastpass was for Soarin' and even then the lines for that were only 40 minutes once and then 30 & 20 minutes 2 other times. We rode it 3 times. It's really cool. We had a little rain on Thursday & Friday because of Ophelia but nothing major, just a sprinkle here & there. Friday was great it was overcast & breezy all day compliments of Ophelia! Overall I couldn't have asked for better conditions! For all of you going soon you should have very low crowds!

Thanks I am hoping the crowds will still be somewhat low in the next 2 weeks as we leave in 14 days!!! Glad you had a magical trip!

My sister is there right now and called me this afternoon from MK. Anyway, she said the place looks like a ghost town. The only time they needed a FP was on Soarin. Their longest wait for anything without a FP was about 5 minutes. She HAD to add they they have PSs for dinner tonight on top of the Contemporary...just in time to watch the fireworks, then since MK has extra hours tonight, they'll head back in after dinner.... I'm sure she just hated sharing this info me with.

We will be there from 9-25 thru 9-29 and were hoping the crowd level would be low! We are looking so forward to this trip. Have been planning it for 18 months.

YIPPY! We leave Sunday! This is only our second time going, and our first time was during SPRING BREAK! Talk about crowded! I just watched our home videos from then and remembered just how crowded it was, there were a few times we got stuck in crowds just waiting for everyone to move! Funny thing is it was still a great trip, kiddos were 3 and 4, they are now 6 and 7 and I just can't wait, I think it will be even more special with them being older and harldy no crowds

The California Grill (I think, I actually haven't been there yet!) is at the top of the Contemporary. If you time it right, you can see and hear the fireworks from MK. They pipe in the music.

All this talk of low crowds in Sept has me planning a sept trip next year.
