WL was great as usual. We received complimentary upgrade from WoodsView to Courtyard without asking.
Parks were crowded, particularly MK. Despite that, we had no trouble getting fastpasses and wait times were not crazy(except MK). I am amazed that so many people still dont "get" FastPass.
"Wishes" was great.
We finally saw Philharmagic and it was very impressive. Sitting in the back of the theater does make a difference.
Heat was unbearable at times. The day we left, the heat index was 110.
ESPN weeked was OK but nothing special. We got to meet Marylou Retton and Bruce Jenner. Unrelated, we met Olympian Dot Richardson at DD(we are a Fastpitch Softball family and my girls were thrilled!).
Boma was outstanding as usual and HoB was a pleasant surprise.
We tried the new Water Mice and they are a bit faster - same motor, lighter hull.
Pet Peeve - why do people leave their leftovers, plates, trays, etc on the table and walk away when finished. Particularly irking is if there is a garbage receptacle right nearby. No common courtesy; the workers have a hard enough job.
Parks appeared to be kept up better as far as picking up of debris, etc.
Some really cute and inventive towel animal ideas everyday in our room- which was kept spotless I might add.
Roaring Forks needs to expand the menu a bit(as usual).
Travel to AKL and DD needs to be addressed - there is just no fast way to get there with WDW transportation. It took 1Hr15 minutes to get to Boma from WL. We tried alternate routes to DD using resort buses but travel to DD was always difficult.
That's all for now.
Any questions, I will try to answer.

Hi Stanley!!! Glad you had a good time at WL. We just got back 2 weeks ago too. I agree with you about Roaring Forks!!! We eat alot on the go and try to spend as much time in the parks as we can so we end up eating there alot. They upgraded our room too from standard to courtyard. Agree with you on the heat DD13 nearly had a heat stroke on the last day we were there. :faint: Did you do E-Ride night? We did it for the first time on Wed. and LOVED it!!! Oh well, time to start planning the next one, right???!!! :crazy2: See ya!!!

CoolDisneyMom,
We did not do E-Night though we had originally planned to do so. We were just too wiped despite rest periods. I think E-Nights are best when the park closes early.
I hear you about the heatstroke - one day coming back from EPCOT World Showcase I thought I was going down - I couldn't cool off. We used to go in Nov. or Dec. but with a 17 1/2 year-old DD, we just can't pull her out of school.
Hope your trip, other than the heat, was good.
Planning for April if possible as kids have off an odd week for Spring Break which is not Easter week. Let's see, if we do that week... then maybe.... (LOL)

Stanley - I hear you about the school situation. My DD is only 13 though and homework is incredible!!!!! We're planning "big" trip with extended family next July (I know, July AGAIN??!!) LOL
Hope to get AP's for X-mas this year and go possibly for long weekends since we're only 8 hrs. away!!! Glad you had fun.

Stanley,
So glad you enjoyed yourself. You mentioned in your post that on Philharmagic "Sitting in the back of the theater does make a difference." I've never been on Philharmagic. Is it best to sit in the back?

Can anyone answer my question? Is watching Philharmagic best from the back of the Theater?

We saw Philharmagic twice; once up front and once in the back. You definitely get a better 3-D effect in the back.

We loved Philharmagic when we went in March! Sorry to hear about the crowds and especially the heat! Wow, 110 heat index?!?! Welcome back!

Great review.
I hear ya on the summer travel - I can't pull my 16 year old out anymore either. Any off season trips are solo.
I've learned to love the heat. :p But 110 is a bit much, even for me......
