the crowds were manageable up untill wednesday, that day was so bad that the Magic Kingdom decided at about 3PM to stay open later. at 1pm splash and space mountain had 85 minute standby waits and were all out of fastpasses. on thursday at Epcot the same was true of test track and mission space. test track single rider line went as high as 50 minutes. they closed the gate at blizzard beach at 1 pm. not sure when they reopened. it just seemed to happen all at once. anyone heading down and staying at a disney resort should make sure you take advantage of E-nites. we did and if you keep moving you can ride about everything that is open twice if you stay out of Mickeys Philharmagic which will eat up about 45 minutes. I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks for the warning. My friend & her relatives are leaving tomorrow morning. I wonder if the crowds will continue next week. I need to call them to remind them to get out of bed early & get to the parks. They are not early risers.

dalto1 - We were there on Wed. also, and MK didn't "decide" to stay open later because of crowds, it was E-Ride night for Disney Resort Guests - for a separate admission resort guests are allowed on e-ride night an extra 3 hours until 1:00am. We did it and it was wonderful!!!!! However, I didn't think the crowds were bad at all on Wed. Try going New Years week and then tell me if Wed. was crowded or not!!! Hope you had a good time. I know we sure did!!! 4 nights at WL wonderful as always!!!!

my fault, it was tues, we were on a bus and the driver came on and said the magic kingdom just announced it will stay open till 11 pm. it was wednesday the other things happened, on thursday i was on a plane. sorry the days started to run together.

i was there wednesday and thought the crowds were very manageable.we got there early(8:00) so we were there when they dropped the ropes. It was my first time getting there so early and i was so glad we did. having the mayor welcome us and seeing the characters on the train really makes your day.we went straigh to frontierland and got on all the rides.when the crowds got heavier we used fast pass(our first time using this) which was great!considering wednesday was the first day that it didn't rain while we were there i thought the crowds were just fine.the only ride we couldn't get on was space mountain and that was because my DH decided to late in the day that he wanted to go on it. it was a 2 hr wait with fast pass. I'm sure if he had wanted to do it earlier he would have gotten on.Don't miss philharmagic and the buzz lightyear ride.both are great!
