Well, we just got home late Monday night from our two week vacation at WDW. I am back at work and still haven't finished unpacking everything. I wanted to make a few observations and then will post a full trip report in a few days.
Our 6 am flight was on time and arrived in Orlando at 12:55 p.m.. Hubby went to get luggage and I went directly to National Emerald Aisle to see what was there. To my excitement, there was an Aztec. This worked great for us, because I didn't think our luggage would fit in an intermediate. This easiley held our 4 big bags, plus our small stuff.
We stayed first 3 days at BCV in studio. I loved BCV, but for the four of us, I don't think I would want to do a studio again. We really like our space.
Used Q&C vouchers as well at VKL vouchers. They were great. Best values were at B&C and Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. The VKL were awesome at Rainforest.
Went off-site to Universal for the first weekend. Stayed at Royal Pacific and it was much better than last time we stayed. Honestly, I don't think I could ever stay at Universal off-site since they offer front of line with their hotels. I talked to a family that purchased the express pass and they spent almost 100 for 1 day just for express pass (1 pass per ride).
MOved to Saratoga Springs for the next 5 nights. We had an awesome room where we could see the fireworks from PI at night and walk out our patio to the small pool. I did like the resort.
Moved to Gaylord Palms for our last weekend. What an awesome place. (Priceline $85) We paid $50 extra per night and upgrade to a wonderful suite. A computer with free internet access was available in the room and that was nice. They do offer free transportation to the parks now, also.
July 4 we moved to Boardwalk for our last night. Got to witness fireworks at both MGM and EPCOT by walking on the paths between them and hotel. What an awesome experience. Made me very proud to be an American and live in a country where we have so many freedoms.
Let me know if anyone has questions.
