Just Back from 2/11-18 trip. Ate some great food!!!

Food was great! Prices are 10.00-20.00 per entree. It is a more upscale restaurant. I had the Asian Shrimp Cocktail and New York Steak and the 100 year celebration cake. Shrimp was very hot but good. Waiter was great. Not one bad thing to say here!
Presentation was magnificent!

Tell us about 'Ohana for breakfast. I am considering this for a future trip. Sounds like you had great meals!

Lots of fun. It is all you can eat, but not a buffet. It features Mickey, Goofy and Chip and Dale. You get a loaf of pineapple welcome bread when you arrive. We got a great table over looking the volcano pool and lake. Fruit comes next. Then the
platter of breakfast. It is on a lazy susan and it has scambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and these GREAT roasted potatoes.
Just ask if you need more. There is a parade for the kids and they all join in sign "Akuna Matata". The potaotes are to die for! The Poly is so nice. 1st time seeing it.

I have heard mixed reviews about Sci Fi.. how did you find it?

Also... I am staying at BC this year... how was Beaches and Cream for dinner... I always think of it as just ice cream/lunch place..

The Sci-Fi was good. I had the ruben sandwich and it was good.
The funniest part of this place was the movie/clips. Trying to explain to my 8 year old the whole late 50's early 60's alien
paranoia was tricky. It is not as good as the 50's diner, which we went to in July which was good and really fun! My goal is go to ALL the restaraunts in WDW good or bad. The bad really is not that bad, but just do not compare to the good in WDW. Beaches in Cream was OK. The prime rib was not tender at all. The place is really busy and we had to sit at the counter. I had better food at the Allstars by far! I think beaches is more a burger place. It was very hectic when we were there esp. eating at the counter!
