Just back from 10 days at CBR and 4 days at Vero Beach, any questions?????????

Which section of CBR did you stay at? What is your evaluation on mousekeepers, cleaness, CM service quality, bus and envionrment?

We stayed in Jamaica 45 on the second floor.

We only took the bus to Epcot and MK. The buses were there within 10 minutes and were at the MK within 15 minutes after picking us up.

All CM's were helpful, the room was kept very clean and we enjoyed the new room decor.

They are still working on the road that runs behind CBR that will connect Pop Century with the road that runs to the parks.

We had tried ASMO last year and were glad to be back at CBR.

CBR was very crowded the whole time we were there./ Never saw an empty room in our building. The check-in line was very long, but we only waited 30 minutes to check-in.

What did you think of the food court and restaurant there? Were you on the first bus pick up to the parks? I ask because I have bad knees and I'm debating whether to ask for Martinique or Jamaica because of the walk, I'd rather get picked up first and walk to the food court if that is the case. Thanks for your help.

The food court is set up different from the other moderates in that you stand in line for each type of food and pay there, not at one pay station.

We caught the bus at about 8:05. Don't think that it was the first bus of the day though. It got us to MK by 8:25. We were not let into the park until 8:40 - 8:50. Things have changed since 9-11.

We have never eaten in the Port Royale rest. so I can't comment. The food court restaurants are standard WDW fare, pizzas, pastries, etc.

We like Jamaica because it is close to the bridge, but not too close to Port Royale and the noise from the bar and the big pool.

Sounds like you had a great time!! We loved CBR when we stayed there...we were in Martinique and it was great!!

What kind of room did you have at Vero. We are thinking of getting either a 2 bedroom or 2 inn rooms.

We had a studio which has 1 queen bed and a double hide a bed.
The square footage is about the same as a room at CBR.

We were on the 2nd floor in bldg. 14, but would ask for the 3rd floor next time to see out over the trees.

The bldg. is in a good location in that it is next to the pool.
