Thanks for all of the info!! If you have time, coud you mention why you did not like ASMu?We also like ASMo and it is the only value we have stayed at. Just for future reference though, what was different about ASMu that made you dislike it? So glad to hear it is not crowded!! We always avoid MK on Saturdays (we only be at WDW one Sat this trip so no biggie) but so glad it wasn't crowded at the other parks! I imagine the later hours were due to the MLK weekend possibly?

It may have been due to the holiday weekend or possibly because they had a cheerleading & dance competition that began on friday. The things I didn't like about ASMu were:
It looked like somebody saw the ASMo & decided to rip off Disney's idea but without a true disney theme. I just didn't care for the theming of the place for one thing. The food court was MUCH smaller than at ASMo & didn't have as much variety IMO. Also the CMs were not nearly as friendly. I saw here that someone else complained about CMs. Personally I am going to complain to someone higher up than the manager because that apparently didn't do anyone any good. I saw a woman from England complain while I was at the front desk and he didn't do anything for her either. My main complaints with the CMs were: 1) Since I was flying I had to ship a lot of things home. The last package I shipped home, the CM at the front desk at first did not want to ship it for me. She told me to come back in the morning after 7 and someone else would do it for me. Since I was leaving at 5:30 that was not possible so she decided that she would handle it after all. I stood down there at the front desk for an hour and a half before she finally got it done. All that was involved was typing in my name, address, phone number, weighing the package and putting the label on it & getting the payment. No biggie. But she drug it out until I was absolutely FURIOUS about the wait. The other complaint is that the last 3 nights I was there, there were teenagers in the pool screaming well after midnight (the pool closed at 10). The last night I was there they woke me up with their screaming at 2:45 a.m. I called and complained but nothing was done about it. The main thing I didn't like about the ASMu though was the theming. It wasn't "disney enough" for my taste.

i went to MK on sat. because i like for that to be the first and last park i go to. I didn't mind the crowds too much b/c I had already done everything in the park at least once & I spent the day stopping in to revisit favorites if i felt like it or didn't mind waiting the length of time posted. for the most part, the things i wanted to do didn't have more than a 10 min. wait and i walked up 15 minutes before the SADCT parade and got a curb seat in front of city hall.
