::MickeyMo We had a wonderful trip! Cast-DH,sister, Mom,sisters fiance,DD8,my best friend and running partner and me-birthday trip was present to me from DH-told me to invite anyone I wanted and treated for everything-air,hotel,meals tickets etc! First stay at YC and LOVED it! The CL staff was amazing-better than GF,AKL,BW in my opinion. The CM's at the YC were just lovely-very very helpful even at the busiest of times. Ate at Flying Fish,Spoodles, Citricos(food good, service awful)Yachtsman steakhouse , Japan cooking tables and Fulton Fish. All excellent meals!Spent NYE at Epcot-had VIP seating and was treated like a queen!I can not begin to tell you all the pixie dust that came our way-We visit WDW two or three times a year and always stay at CL but really was impressed by the CM's at YC.The professional staff was very visiable and available and really went above and beyond....Only area of concern was housekeeping at night-twice they stopped turn down service in mid-bed-and left bags of garbage in the room, no towels and beds half done. It was very odd. With careful planning we managed to do and see everything we wanted to and got plenty of pool and shopping time. I would definetly stay at the YC again! Please ask any questions-it was a great trip!

Happy to hear you had such a good time! How were the crowds? I'm nervous, we are planning on going Dec 29-Jan 5. I've heard the crowds can be out of hand. Where did you go in Epcot....I mean how did you get VIP seating? What about the weather? Sorry for all the questions, I've been wanting to hear from someone who just returned. Again, glad to hear you had a great time! Thanks! :goodvibes

sounds like you had an excellent time......thanks so much for telling us about it.....where did you sit for NYE in Epcot?

Crowds were heavy-but if you planned for them you were OK. We got to the parks at opening and stayed until 1:00 P.M. We knew what we wanted to see and used fast passes. This was not a trip to "do it all",but more of a "take it as it comes and enjoy"trip. Having that mind set was a help. We would go back to the hotel, rest, use the pool and hang out, then go to dinner and hit the parks again late. The weather was great-sweaters at night and in the early AM, but we did wear shorts too. I think it was unusually warm for Orlando. The VIP passes were kind of a fluke-I had tried to set up something private and it fell through. Disney was kind enough to help me out.I don't think it is something that happens very often. We were located near the UK for the fireworks. All I can say is that it was an awesome way to welcome in the New Year and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Thanks for the info! The fact that you said you would do it again makes me feel better! I can't wait!

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for posting.

Glad you had a wonderful stay. I just love those CM's at YC!

Yay! I am so happy to hear your trip was wonderful! :goodvibes

We just booked our first Yacht Club stay, which is also our first CL stay, so I am very pleased to hear you had great service.

Do you remember any of the yummy offerings in the lounge? Did they send you the times and "menus" ahead of time?

I've heard there is separate check-in for CL, but how do you get up there without checking at the main desk?

Thank you!!
