It was a great trip. I would have posted sooner, but I wanted to get all the finishing touches on the pics before reporting. This trip has some good time and not so good times, but a very happy ending. Let me start at the beginning and catch everyone up. Our first time going was April of 2004(week of Easter) for our DisneyMoon. We stayed at CBR. Great resort. Not even 2 weeks from being back I begged DW to let us go back. She agreed and we went within the first 2 weeks of December (05) and stayed at the WL. Great resort. Well it was 4 months later and I found out that my dad moved to FL. So I figured that since she has never met him, why not take a trip to meet him in Boynton Beach and then drive dow to Disney. She agreed and it was one of the best trips thus far. Where else to go for the Halloween time and my bday, then Disney. So let me bring you to this trip report.
The cast... Me - Brandon, DW - Misty, and making his first apperance, Pac-Man. Yes that is right, Pac-Man. You will see.
We were originally supposed to leave on 10-21-05 (a Friday), but I am sure all of you know that a little storm called Wilma, made some of you change your plans. My dad called me on Wednesday 10-19-05 and said that they were talking about closing the airports on 10-21-05, which would mean we would not get our rental call. So on that Wednesday, I called DW and asked about leaving on 10-20-05. She agreed and I called AA. No charge to change our flight due to Wilma. Go AA.
. So needless to say everything that we were supposed to get done Thursday and Friday morning for our trip, we had to cram in to Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Now ever since we booked this trip I was buying Disney Dollars for spending money. Thursday I had 350.00 Disney Dollars. Well on the way to the airport, my MIL gave me 50.00 worth of DIsney Dollars for my bday. Woohoo. Go Mom. So that is 400.00 Disney Dollars. Now keep in mind with everything being cramed in to get stuff done, things were rushed. This will play in later. Well me and DW are at the airport and she gave me my 1st bday surprise. 25.00 more Disney Dollars. Go Misty...
So the new total is 425.00. Plenty of spending money, plus we were on the Dining plan. So we were covered.
We get on our plane and from our trip in April I had AA headphones and I made sure to pack them. We get our seats and what to my surprise, no head phone jacks.
I can live with that, because we will be in Florida for 11 days. Woohoo. So we go and land in Boynton Beach. Land with no problem and we get our rental car. Woohoo. I asked the person at Thrifty if the car would be equipped with a cd player and she said she didn't think so. I made cd's for our driving time. Luckily it did. Woohoo. We left and found my dad's. They live in a mobile home park. Pretty nefty. We drove around some that night just to look. Next day we finally go to the beach. Both DW and I have never been to the beach. All I can say is wow. Very cool.
Here is a pic of the beach. Notice the clouds. This is Friday 10-21-05. You can tell a storm is a coming. But look at the beach. Awsome..
I decided to draw the word LOST with my feet. The waves were starting to take my word away. I now know that if I am ever lost on a beach, to move more up so the darn waves don't destroy my hopes for a rescue.
This is a jelly fish. For those that have never seen one nor been to the beach. DO NOT step on, play soccer with, or dive to catch these. They will sting you. Even if you have seen Sponge Bob try to catch these, he is a professional.

Well after that my dad decided to drive us around. He wanted Krispy Kreams. He was trying to get the senior discount and also remembered where they have a thing if you buy a dozen you get a dozen for like a 1.00. He had to buy one donought for .47 and got a receipt and sure enough, at the bottom of the receipt had that exact offer. So we had yummy KK and drove. He wanted to show us a beach, but took a wrong turn and ended up in FT. Lauderdale.
. We went back home and he had to get some sleep. He works nights. So me and DW decided to drive around. Boynton Beach has the best looking WalMart and Ross I have ever seen.
Well we left on Saturday to leave in enough time before Wilma came. Seemed like others were doing the same thing. Here is some pics as we are leaving my Dad's. Pac-Man had to say bye to Boynton Beach.

Trying to get on the Florida turnpike was some fun times. But we finally made it. If anyone drives to Disney and you see the signs for discount tickets, don't waste your time. We called the # and it's not worth the stop. Just a heads up. Well we were going to stay at the Red Roof Inn right outside of Disney. We checked in and we headed to DTD. We were craving Earl of Sandwich before we even left home. As we found a parking spot at DTD, I asked DW to get the Disney Dollars out. I had put them in the passporter. Problem #1. We are missing 200.00 worth of Disney Dollars. I am getting upset and doing everything but tearing out the seats of the rental car. DW calles MIL and they are not at our house. (MIL is house and pet setting for us). I thought maybe when my MIL gave me the 50.00 Disney Dollars they may have slipped out and was in my DW's car. She said she would go the next day and look (DW's car was at MIL's apt) I tried not to let it bother me too bad and we were hungry so off to Earl.
Pac-Man is thirsty.
There was World of Disney store.

In front of the Lego Store they have some new creations.
This is really cool
Grrrrr. I want the job to build these.
This rocks!
The only thing cooler would be if they built a freaking laser beam on top of him.
We decided to have a sundae at Gehardelli.

DW has yet to get a different sandwich. She always gets and will always reccomend, the All American with extra cranberries. It is good, but I have my favorite too. We look around a bit and DW gets her Disney Bear that she has been wanting. Good Times. . Now keep in mind that we don't check into Disney until Monday and wont' even have park tickets until Tuesday. We had a room only ressie for Monday and then a continuation ressie with tickets for the rest of our stay.
