We just got back from Disney, we were there from 1/17 to 1/23 and had a few table services meals, so I thought I'd review them. :thumbsup2 The pictures aren't as artistic as I would like, but my husband was starving at every meal and was a little impatient to wait while I set up the shot. Some meals are even missing bites. :rotfl:

We ate at:

Tutto Italia
50's Prime Time
Rose and Crown
Tusker House
Kona Cafe

We also ate at

Mama Melrose
Beaches and Cream
Chefs de France

but I forgot to take pictures there.

Our first meal was at Tutto Italia. I loved this meal for the food, but didn't really love where they sat us. We sat in the little side room, at the first table, I felt like we were almost seated in the lobby and we were also the only ones in there. It seems that they could have found a table for us in the main dining room, it really wasn't very crowded and we had 5:30 ressies?

The food came out really fast while we were still eating the bread, we only had entrees so we were in and out of the restaurant in about 35 minutes, I kind of like to spend a little more time, but I guess it was our fault for only having entrees. ;)

I had the Petto di Pollo (oven roasted chicken breast with tomatos and mozzarella) It was sooooo good!

My husband had Costata Di Maiale Alla Valdostana (breaded pork chop, stuffed with prociutto ham, and fontina cheese) He loved his too!

I would consider this to be the best meal of the trip! The food was cooked just right, it wasn't dried out at all, like chicken or pork can be.

Next up was lunch at 50's Prime Time. I really liked my meal here too, unfortunately even though our ressie was at 11:30 am, all the tv table were already taken so we just had this little table for two against the wall. I was starting to wonder about the tables we were getting, but our luck changed at Rose and Crown.

I had Grandma's Chicken Pot Pie. I thought it was really good, I had got a peanut butter and jelly milk shake that was awesome, but so filling that I really didn't finish my meal, but we had a very forgiving waitress, who didn't say anything to me. ;) I did spill some of my shake when a clump of ice cream fell out of the metal cup and splashed everywhere when it over flowed my glass cup. A different waiter told on me, it was actually quite funny. I wish we had him because I could tell he was alot of fun, but our waitress was sweet, so all was good.

My husband had the meatloaf and he liked his, notice missing bites of food? I think all of his meal pictures were missing bites. :rotfl:

I enjoyed this restaurant, wish we hadn't been seated at such a small table but it was good! :thumbsup2

Third up was dinner at Rose and Crown. Finally we got a table at the window, that was big enough for the both of us! It was a two-fer! ;) Here my husband had the scotch egg for a starter, it was a little odd, but he liked it, the picture didn't come out so I had to omit it.

For dinner I had Sunday Roast - with Yorkshire Pudding, Roasted Potatoes, seasonal Vegetable, and Shallot Gravy. I liked it, the beef was pot roast, but it was tender and tasty. The green beans were under cooked though, so I really didn't eat many. Here's a pic...

My husband had Cardigan Bay Fisherman's Stew - with Cod, Scallops, Mussels, Prawns, and a Tomato-Ale Broth. He really enjoyed his and I think I managed to get a picture of it before he dove into it. :rotfl:

I would definitely eat here again, I loved the interior of the restaurant and our waiter was really nice and attentive.

great start - looking forward to more. (By the way our roast dinner should be prime rib not pot roast!! :) )

lol. :lmao:

Our waiter called it "roast beef" when I ordered it, so I was kind of expecting something else, but it was still good. :thumbsup2

Our next meal was dinner at Chefs de France. I didn't have my camera because I thought I had left it in the rental car, so my husband went out to get it while I started walking from YC to Epcot. Well it wasn't there, then I remembered putting it in a drawer when we went out to SAB, but by that point I felt bad sending my husband back to the hotel room for it, so I just told him to meet me by the water slide at the hotel.

I thought the service here was good, but my meal was over cooked. I had a meal that was mahi, mahi, scallops, shrimp and gnocci's in a fish broth, but they must have put it under the broiler and everything was dried out. I'm not one to complain though because I don't know what they would do to the meal the next time it came out. :rotfl:

My husband had the Prix Fixe 3 Courses Menu - Bisque de Homard, Filet de Salmon with ratatouille sauce Choron and the creme brulee. He liked his, I was surprised he ordered the salmon because he doesn't usually like salmon? The best part for him was the lobster bisque, he couldn't stop talking about it. We eat here every time we go to Disney, so I'm sure we'll be back.

Our next meal was lunch at Tusker House. We had the nicest waiter even though we did wait a while to place our drink orders, but I think he was busy with a large table.

Here are some pics

My husband loved the curry chicken and I liked the beef even though the first piece I had was grizzley, the second piece I went back up for was yummy. I love a buffet because I like to try small amounts of everything, the desserts were really good and I think the 21.99 they charge is reasonable. :thumbsup2

Our next meal was at Kona Cafe, we had this really funny waitress who was very accomodating. We had early ressies and the place was nearly empty when we were seated, it did pick up while we were there though.

I had Pan Asian Noodles - Asian egg noodles with sliced chicken, peanuts, seasonal vegetables, and a soy-peanut sauce. I really liked this, the chicken was tender and the sauce was kind of sweet, the dish reminded me of Pad Thai

My husband had the tuna Oscar - served with fried green tomatoes, asparagas and wasabi hollandaise. My husband loved this, the tuna was really fresh and he loved the fried green tomatoes. It's funny, by the time I remembered to take a photo, he had eaten alot of his, but he fixed it up, so it was hard to tell. :rotfl:

We had a great meal here and I loved the bread they served us first. We'll be back!

Our last two meals were Beaches and Cream and Mama Melrose. I forgot to take pictures at B and C, but we both had cheeseburgers that even though my husband thought were delicious, I thought were rather greasy since the rolls were saturated with oil. The waitress also for forgot to put in our order, which really didn't matter to us because we didn't have any where to be, but she felt bad and gave us two free chocolate chip cookies! :lovestruc I thought that was really nice of her, we hadn't even really noticed that it was taking a long time.

Our last meal was at Mama Melrose. It was funny, but we had the same waitress that we had had when we were there in July. I guess we may go to Disney alot since we are starting to recognize the cast members. Here we had the calamari, my husband had a minestrone soup and we shared a grilled chicken flatbread. As always we had a good meal here, it's another place that we always eat at and we've never been dissappointed. :thumbsup2

Thanks for reading my reviews, sorry we didn't have many starters or desserts, I'm a light eater and my husband is watching his boyish figure. :rotfl:
