I couldn't believe how great this experience was (pardon the horrible English!)

I was utilizing the one-at-a-time additional FP over at the Tomorrowland FP kiosk near Stitch (finally those Stitch FP machines are getting a workout!). Talking with the CM posted there to help (Hi TJ from Thailand!) and up pops a Wishes FP!

TJ advises me to grab it as they don't come up too often (this was at 9pm with the return time of 935pm)

Well folks, this was magical. You get to sit on the cool and comfortable grass, just under Tinkerbell's flight path. It felt like a 1970s Fourth of July with kids running around playing before the show and then sitting quietly on their parent's laps). The pre-show, Celebrate the magic is wonderful, but you do see it a little sideways.

A few days later on my last night, I was heading out of the park and on a whim, checked for Wishes and sure enough there it was again. So I finished my quick 4 day visit lounging on the grass, watching two great shows.

" I was utilizing the one-at-a-time additional FP over at the Tomorrowland FP kiosk near Stitch"

Not sure I understand what this FP is?? Why is it a "one-at-a-time additional FP"? Is this separate from the regular FP's?

I can't agree more with OP. I have been crammed in a pack of people for the last 30ish years watching fireworks. It was just beautiful lounging on the grass. My husband even had plenty of room to lie down to watch the fireworks. Everyone was so well-behaved in the Rose Garden, maybe because we weren't shoulder to shoulder in a mass of people. Totally worth a FP if you love Wishes.

Their talking about the additional FP's after the first pre-planned 3. 4th, 5th, etc are picked one at a time.

Is Wishes worth using a Fastpass for when reserving online or taking a chance after the first 3 are used that a Fastpass will be available for Wishes?
Thanks!:)

We loved the Wishes FP location. The kids stretched out and were able to really relax and enjoy the show.

Thanks for the info, OP. Your description really painted a picture!! You definitely make it sound like something to strongly consider!

I have the exact same question! it just came up as a fP for me. I am not 100% we will stay for fireworks on this trip though because i think my kids might be zonked!

Keep in mind that if you book Wishes as one of your three, you will not be able to get another FP until you have used your third, which would be Wishes.

Thanks for sharing, anonymousegirl, sounds wonderful!! :cloud9:

Seems lately there are mostly nothing but positive FP+ posts around here. Where did all the doom and gloomers go? Is it a tail between the legs syndrome?

Yay! So happy to hear this. I was literally just able to get a FP+ for Wishes for our upcoming trip. It will be the last night we are there before heading home. We are planning on seeing the fireworks another night also, but I wanted to make sure my DD would be able to get some good pictures and that my DGS's would be close. Looking forward to the FP+ location!!

If you love Wishes and want to really enjoy it without the crowds, then use one of your 3 FPs so it is guaranteed. But as a PP pointed out, that precludes you from any extra FPs. To make sure the kiddos aren't zonked out, perhaps start that day late at MK?

I see Wishes every time I am at WDW, sometimes 2 or 3 times, so I thought I wouldn't waste a value FP on it. Now I know how enjoyable it was not to be squashed in the street, with bottom cramps from sitting for an hour on the curb, I will always use one of my FPs for Wishes.

Though you can't get extra FPs do what we did, we waited to visit Tomorrowland until 8:30pm. We walked onto Laugh Floor, Stitch, and Speedway had a 10 min wait. So while everyone was staking a spot. We enjoyed some attractions and still got an excellent spot for Wishes because of our FPs.

I just got backm on Weds, and the wait times were very low
10 min Star Tours
5-10 min Buzz
10 min BTMR (during EMH pm)
10 min Space Mt (during EMH pm)
5 min Spaceship Earth (during reg hours)

The only consistently long queues were:
TSMM
Peter Pan
A&E meet and greet
Soarin'

Couldn't tell you about RNRC or TOT as I don't ride them.
