Just back! We book Standard view at BWV and got upgraded to a pool view!

What a treat that was! We were trying to save on points for this years trip so we book the BW standard view. I have always had a BW view so I wasn't to excited for the Standard. What a wonderful surprise to be upgraded to 5090! It was a hike to the elevators but a really great room!

Do you think they did this b/c we owned there? Our friends were with us and they own a SSR. they had the standard room and they checked in before us. ????

I think they did it because for whatever reason, they were short on standard views for one or more of your dates. Not sure why they chose you over anyone else. Glad you enjoyed the upgrade - they don't happen very often.

Did you see scaffolding outside the standard view rooms? There have been reports of exterior refurb in that area so perhaps you were moved away from the maintenance work?

Congrats on the upgrade....we also received one last June...but double check your points online.... on the day we checked in the SV studio was canceled & a PV studio booked using more points..when i called they had to do a manual adjustment to add points back....MS said the first change was done at BWV since they didn't have any more SV Studios....but they should have just assigned us to a PV and not made any adjustments....
