Heading says it all, loved TTC as usual and Jet Blue was a great airline. Flew Jet Blue from Boston to MCO, Sun the 15th to Sat the 21st. Great on time flight, lots of room in the seats and the kids loved the direct TV. Great choices on soda, juice and snacks with a clean newer aircraft. Liked the choice of boarding and exiting from the front or the rear - really sped things up!!

Thanks for posting! We will be flying JetBlue for the first time this Thursday...BOS to MCO. Do they offer anything at all in the way of snacks? How was the boarding process? We are used to flying SWA with all the anxiety of trying to get "A" boarding. How early did you arrive prior to the flights?

Thanks!
Sammy

We arrived about 2 hours early to logan and about 1 and 1/2 hours early at MCO- way to early but that's pretty normal for us. You never know the traffic to logan and we were at the mercy of the towncar to MCO. The upside was both terminals had good food and MCO was very comfortable for passing time. We ate breakfast and lunch in the terminal's as our flight times were just after each meal.

On board they have a great selection of soda and juice - much more variety than AA (our usual airline) as well as penty of snacks. IIRC, terra blue chips, muncho mix (cheetos, pretzels etc), animal crackers, oatmeal cookies and chocolate chip biscottis. They don't use the cart but come around for drink orders and then pass out snacks from a basket. Much more efficient and you get served fairly quick no matter where your seated. It also free's up the aisle in case you need to use the lav.

The boarding process was great - they preboard wheelchair and strollers only and then open boarding up by row. In MCO they have a stairway to the rear entrance allowing you to exit and board the rear if you are in row 18 or above.

IMHO this was the most efficiently manage flight we have ever had!

HTH - anymore questions ask away.

Hi there,
Glad to hear good things about Jetblue. We will be flying them on 4-30-04. Is there a place to have lunch after going through the last security point or should we eat before going through. Also do you know the dimentions of the personal item they allow you to carry on in addition to the carry on. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the great information! I was a little nervous about them just because it's new for us. We usually fly out of MHT on SWA, but couldn't get any non-stops on them this time. I think my kids are more excited about the TVs on the plane than they are right now about going to Florida!!!

As far as boarding goes, in order to get 5 seats together, we are in the wayyyyy back of the plane on the way to MCO. Looks like we'll be sitting in the terminal for a bit waiting for everyone to board before us! But at least with the pre-assigned seating, we'll be assured of being together!

Thanks again!

Hey sounds like Jetblue is a winner, we will be flying with them in about 15 days, we leave at 6:10 am from Syracuse. Anyone out there ever left from Syracuse? How soon do we need to be at the airport? Our DD is 10 and not sure how she will manage getting up at 3:30 am if we need to be at airport by 4:30 a.m.

I emailed Jetblue for information on carry on bag dimensions and they emailed me back very punctually. Allowed on personal carry item, i.e. purse this one must be able to fit under your seat and the other carry on 16" x 24" x I think 10". For more info just email them through there website.

Another VERY VERY satisfied JetBlue customer. Flew BOS to FLL (Ft. Lauderdale) this past week. JetBlue out of Logan flies out of Terminal E which is the international terminal. This worked out well in our favor, due to the time of day (not many internation arrivals/departures at midmorning). I was fearful of the school vacation crowds, and they were virtually non-existant and we breezed through curbside checkin, and security.

The crew were wonderful, flights left just about on time, and arrived a few minutes early. At FLL they also had boarding from the front and the rear of the aircraft, which really sped things up.

All in all, I would fly with them again in a HEARTBEAT, and desperately hope they will be flying into Ft Meyers for next year's vacation.

Yes there is a coffee shop right next to the gate and a mcdonalds and small food court up a small set of stairs but still inside the security area.

I'm only responding to the Tiffany Towncar segment - we returned yesterday - had a Tiffany pickup and drop-off both ways from the Dolphin hotel- a great experience!! After having read other posters' experiences, we found ours to be so positive. Our drivers name was Roberto and we'll be requesting him for another trip this year. Caroline:teacher:

I've flowen out of Syracuse a few times (its the closest airport to me). Compaird to all of the other airports i've seen, its is relitivly small. 60mins should plently of time to go through security.:D

Thanks alot for the info Jimmybop, didn't think there was going to be anyone out there familiar with Syracuse airport. I am always so concerned about length of time for security check. If I am there no later than 4:30 am should be OK then. I still will have checked luggage to check in with Jetblue.

Actually, I would call or go online to check what time the airport opens, no need to get there any earlier as you will just be waiting for the gates to open. This happened to us at Logan when we used to have the early flight on AA - we waited in the terminal for about 15 minutes for the airport to open.

We used Jetblue for a couple of vacations and have vowed to use them anytime we are able in the future. It's an impressive airline.:)
