Just back..used Happy Limo

We used Happy Limo for our trip last week. The driver was waiting for us at the airport with a sign with our name on it. We had to walk over into the parking area to get to the black Cadillac sedan. I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was nice enough. When we returned we had a woman driver and a white car. She started right off by talking about sensitive political issues which I didn't really think was appropriate for the end- of- my -vacation ride to the airport. Then we got off of the thruway well before the airport exit, apparently to avoid a toll. This ride to the airport took a lot longer than the ride from the airport to our resort. I guess all that money we spent for this service doesn't get you the quickest way there (especially if there is a toll). Just thought I'd let you know my experience.

I understand exactly how you feel. We used Happy Limo in June 2002 and it was the return trip which was awful. We had a different driver that showed up on time but in an old town car. We had already paid for the ride so we let him take up to the airport, it was just a miserable uncomfortable trip. One of the back windows wouldn't go all the way up so it was noisey. All the driver would say was that he'd been meaning to get that fixed.

Isn't it funny that it was our RETURN trips that were bad? They'd already gotten our money so I guess they didn't care how they treated us.

Oh...and one other thing. I did not tip for the miserable ride. The driver actually "reminded" me that the drivers are tipped individually. I said "I know". He then had the nerve to ask me if he was getting one and why not.

I will never use unHappy Limo again.

Hmm, i wonder if we had the same lady. On our return trip in January we were picked up by a lady, mid 50's or so, who really seemed to have a dislike for certain ethnic groups. I tried to be polite and stay quiet, but did not really appreciate her views with my kids in the car and neither did my wife. She tried to be friendly enough, but just didn't know to shut up and keep her opinions to herself.

Jody- You're lucky you had the option of not tipping. It was included in our price!! She already had it before she ever saw us.

Eric- That sounds like her. If she had to talk so much, could she at least ask how our vacation was? We just sat there in silence.
