We drove down from CT on April 14th. Arrived at Disney at 9pm on April 15th.
Our first night on property was April 16th (AKL). We stayed in a Standard Savannah room for 3 nights. This was a surprise for the kids. The animals were right outside the room in the morning and late afternoon. We really like the hotel, however, I will not use points to stay at AKL in the future. We really have become used to staying in our DVC 1 & 2 bedroom homes.
We moved over to the BWV's April 19th (1 bdrm). It was perfect! Clean and ABSOLUTELY no bedbugs!! So, don't anyone worry about this EVER!!!
We LOVE the BWV's because we can walk to Epcot & MGM. Plus, all the fun at night on the boardwalk is great as well.
We ate at Boma's, O'hana's, California Grill, Cape May, Tepanaki, Medieval Times, Le Cellier (I think that's all of them!?) I will be doing a food review on the Restaurant boards.
We really didn't see any workers at the BWV. I did notice a painter in our hallway 1 day, and they painted the front desk 1 morning, but it DIDN'T bother us at all. It's good to see Disney keeping our investments looking good!
If anyone has any questions, please let me know.
