Just back...tried OKW

I tagged on one day at the end of my incentive trip to stay at a studio at OKW. Checked in around 8:30am on Sunday morning and room wasn't ready. Called back at 11am and room was ready.

We were assigned #1422 which was a nice location. Across the street from Hospitality House and the new pool. This was our first time at OKW and I loved it!

Liked the layout of the studio room. We had a nice view of the water and hole on the course off our balcony. It was a nice quiet location for the most part. Except for the domestic dispute that happened at 2am...very strange but someone with a radio came and took care of it.

Had breakfast at Olivia's and it was wonderful.

Would definitely go back!

It's nice to hear that you were happy with your studio at OKW. How many were in the room? With just the 2 of us, we prefer 1 bed and a sofa, but still we'd go back to OKW and be happy with it.

Glad you enjoyed our "home"! We never stay in studios, but I agree that buildings 14 adn 13 are nice for ease of getting to the buses and HH! We were in a first floor 2 bedroom in 13 last December.

Glad you enjoyed staying at OKW for the night ! You got a very convenient location. We've stayed in an OKW studio only twice, but I will admit we preferred having the 2 queen beds because of our children. They're not big on pull-outs. But if it were just dh and I, the studio set-up at the other resorts would probably be better for the extra space. But for now, the extra "real" bed works best for us.
We love Olivia's for breakfast as well ! Can't wait to be there this August

It was me, DH and our 2 kids. Since it was just one extra night before we went home, we just got the studio as we didn't need the extra room from a 1 BR and above.

We had a 2BR there in May and were pleasantly surprised by the new pull-out sofa. It is not the "old" style that folds in half. It is kind of hard to describe, but part of the mattress "slips" up the back of the sofa. It took me a while to figure out how to return it to the sofa position. DS said it sleeps much better than the other kind.

Glad to hear that you like OKW. It's our favorite spot. Bld 14 is one of favs as well. We also think Olivia's is one of WDW hidden secrets.

Glad you liked our "Home". My DD(18) and DS(15) don't like to stay anywhere but OKW. We are going down in less than 1 month and my original ressie was at BCV (I booked early and got a 2-bedroom with 2 queen beds!!) Boy did I hear about it from them. I thought they would like the convenience of SALB, Epcot and MGM. So when I had to add on days, I switched to our resort. Now they are happy.
