Anyway, for those on here ready to act like adults, what can I expect from these groups around the 2-3 week in July?

The groups are heaviest during these 2 weeks. But, as a bunch of us have said, there are ways to work around the kids. Not if they are violating safety rules though. I hope that doesn't happen for you, and that you have a fab trip!

Well, I hardly see how the number of years a person has been here has anything to do with the flaming and rants towards other posters on here. I really dont care how long a person has been a member. I'm here to find information including how bad these groups will be when I get there. I read through 20 pages of anything but the subject. If disboard administrators want to overlook the comments made by vet. members fine. I guarentee they will loss new members if we have to read this filth.

As for your comment about this is not as bad as some threads. Ive been on here everyday since I started and this is the worse Ive seen. If you want to flame each other go to a site called TOPIX.COM (there are plenty of other children on that site) dont do it on a vacation planning site. Come on and have some sence.

Nobody can really tell you if you will run into them or not and how it will affect you. If you want to learn more on the subject, try "Search" option. There are many threads like that were in past but word of warning, they always hot, it is hot subject after all.

Ive been in August so I'm ready or heat and humidity, but thanks for the warning. Im just not ready for these groups. I do not ever remember many "large" groups but It been YEARS since Ive been there in July.

Good thing we are staying at FW Cabins I doubt they will be there. At least I will be able to relax at my cabin.

The prosecution has to prove they did it. Defendants don't even have to take the stand. True, accusations can get you arrested, but the burden of proof still rests with the state to make their case. Those accused of serious crimes or are considered a flight risk can be ordered to remain in jail awaiting trial. It doesn't mean they have been determined to be guilty. You are still missing the basic premise of our legal system which is the argument I was making - when criminal charges are filed, the burden of proof is on the state, not the defendant. You don't have to live in Florida to know that.

Ok. while the burden of proof lies with the state, you as the defendant must show how you are innocent. You may not have to take the stand, but you do have to have your defense. I am not missing anything. Legal wording is different than what really happens. The state has the burden of proof, on the same token, you must defend and show how you didn't do it.. you are innocent until proven guilty, sure you are, but you are treated as guilty until proven innocent.. do you see the logic I am stating. I am not saying you are guilty, but treated as you are. I am not stating the State doesn't have to just prove it, but you must show you are not guilty. It is a matter of wording.. but boils down to the same thing.. doesn't it?

Let's see...teaching my children to stand up for themselves. That may seem like a strange concept to you but then again you sound like you enjoy being the world's door mat. And yes, when it comes to someone bothering my wife or kids - I will EXTRACT that person however I see fit. I won't need to find a dictionary to try to come off sounding more educated (but I have a Masters if you're curious). Your type likes to talk about how good it is to talk things out and reason through all situations. When that doesn't work you run to find someone else to fight your battles (probably yelling "I'll sue you!" as you run away). I'm guessing you are or were a teacher or government worker of some type. Peace & Love!

You can expect the groups to do a lot of chanting particularly when they wait in line or are on buses. Some people find it very annoying and others not. Some do some of this during shows too but not so much.

They also follow behind leaders who tend to take their passes and get fastpasses for all of them at once. These people can really hold up the fastpass lines at popular rides like Toy Story Mania.

They also like to stick together so a few might be in line and the rest will bypass everyone to catch up. You might have 50 or more kids suddenly moving past you. These groups have also been known to sit down in the middle of sidewalks or wherever which can make it difficult to get around them.

Not all groups do this! When we've seen them which has been rare for us we just move the other way when we can. Any large group can be difficult in the right circumstances.

For those who are interested in when the tour groups are heaviest..
July & Jan. While they do not bother everyone, they can be bothersome to others. You may encounter some that will line jump, you may encounter some that will hold a place in the line, then 50 join them. You may encounter chanting & having a good time, you may not like it. You may encounter long lines at the FP machines due to one person getting a 100 or so FP's for their group.
If you feel that you cannot handle this, and it would cause your vacation to be ruined, maybe July & Jan are not the best months for you to go to Disney. If it is your only time to go, you may or may not encounter these situations.

If you do encounter line jumping, I would suggest taking pictures and going to Guest Relations to complain. Complaining to fellow posters will get us all no where. Pictures would sure back up your complaints and may help in stopping bad behaviors by tour groups. Complaining to guest relations about chanting will not get much done & the same goes for the FP. Sometimes when one complains about toooo much, they are not taken seriously.

Then you really should grow thicker skin, seriously, not kidding, you will need one. This thread is not that bad, pointless but not bad. Trust me some fights are really, really ugly, this one is moderate. You will see what I am saying when you here a bit longer.

I am so confused. People are actually offering to buy someone who is foaming at the mouth a steak and a drink--someone who has said horrible things about teachers? What am I missing?
Did none of you have a good teacher when you were growing up? Do none of you know someone who is a teacher? Were you raised by wolves? How do you get the money to even go to WDW (or buy Bluto a steak from Narcoossee's)? You work, right? How did you get your job? Well, I am betting (and it's just an EDUCATED guess here) that you went to school! Now, I know it may have been an alternative high school...but a school regardless.

Also, how did it get from Americans can be rude too, to "you must not support our military"? Ok, so you are proud of this country. So am I! But, I'm not blind, nor ignorant.

I was incredibly annoyed by the tour groups last year--but not once did I think about physically harming someone. If someone was hurting me or my daughter, then yes, I would do something to stop it (and yes, it would be physical)--but cutting in line? Eh, I have more important things to worry about. Like, applying for government programs and petitioning the government to raise taxes. Cause that's how we roll..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People amaze me. **** the teachers and let's give the guy who punches a kid in the face a prize!
