We just got home early this morning and have some quick observations here for people heading down there...

It is very hot and humid but we had no rain any afternoon except thursday afternoon 9/18 for ten minutes while we were in Islands of Adventure. It did rain some over nights but we just saw puddles in the morning so it did not affect anything at all.

We had not trouble with lines until this past weekend, never waited in one really more than 10 minutes tops at of all rides Great Movie Ride on tuesday, 9/16.

Starting saturday 9/20 the parks were very crowded and they were using fast pass and express pass at Universal for the popular rides. Saturday we were in Universal Studios and sunday morning we were in MK and then went to Epcot for the day. Sunday was the heaviest crowd we saw at any time there. Monday the crowds were almost gone again, so I assume many were just weekend travellers or local folks visiting. Weekdays were much better we felt for park touring.

Some rides are opening later than the rest of the park such as Jungle Cruise at MK and of course some of the stores are opening later and closing before the park does. JC did not open any day we were in the MK until 10am.

Had PS for several restaurants but showed up each time early and got seated right away, crowds in the sitdown restaurants in the parks were very light. Also walked into a couple with no PS and got seated right away..

Since many people are reluctant to pull the kids out of school there is a much larger pre-school age group there and the Fantasyland rides are the most crowded, if we go first thing in the morning you can walk on these rides but crowds build fast there and Pooh was always using fast pass. Never got to ride as the return times were too late for us to return as we hit it later in the morning.

Each time we walked on Space Mtn, Splash Mtn, AE, Dinosaur, Safari, ToT with less than a five minute wait (weekdays).

They had more street entertainment, impromptu shows in MK than we have seen in a long time there.

Mission Space was far too intense for me and I like Body Wars and Star tours, but I felt sick for rest of the morning, guess it was the G Force pressure on it..Once was enough in a lifetime for me!!

Parks were clean and for the most part in the parks the CMs were very nice as usual. I will think of more later, but gotta get back to the laundry now...:(

We just got back Saturday from a 2 week stay. I have to agree that the parks were very busy on the weekend but very light during the week. We were able to get a ps at any restaurant on short notice also. It was perfect weather, no rain the whole 2 weeks we were there. The All stars were very crowded on our entire stay.

The parks were crowded this weekend becasue Epcot was holding a 3 day pin event!!

I was also just there from Wednesday (9/17) - Sunday (9/22). We went to Disney Quest on Saturday and it didn't seem crowded at all to me. We went to Magic Kingdom on Sunday and again the crowds didn't seem very big to me. We were in Fantasyland and walked on almost everything. The wait for Dumbo at about 10:00 was only about 10 minutes. We got a fast pass for the Pooh ride but we also went on the standby line which was only about a 10 minute wait. We got the fast pass so we could ride it twice. We also walked on to Splash Mountain at about 11:30. We were able to call Sunday morning and get a PS for the Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. We then went to MGM at about 2:00 and did a few things there and then we decided to try and eat the Sci-Fi restaurant over there and walked in at 6:15 without a PS and we were seated in 10 minutes.

We stayed at the Contemporary and during the week it was pretty empty. You could see it was a little more crowded on Saturday and Sunday, but we always had our choice of tables at the Food & Fun Center. .

I guess its just each persons perspective of "crowded". We were pleased with the crowds and the weather. The weather was a little on the warm side, but not unbearable.
