1. An early swim w/ the dolphins. We found 9:30 to be perfect. We were so excited that we couldn't have waited anyway.
2. Flippers are not given. You need to ask. We didn't get them at first. We saw others w/ them but we thought we heard that they were for the lazy river only. Well, we were wrong. You can use them in the coral reef also - just not in the small sting ray pool & with the dolphins. We found it so much easier to snorkel w/ them on.
3. Grab a noodle (float device) near the life guards in a box. We snorkeled w/ them in our arms & used our legs w/ the flippers to swim.
4. Life vests are near the lockers but they also have thicker vests where you pick up your snorkels. These vests seemed to help people to float easier when in the deep water w/ the dolphins. You could always using the thicker vest for the dolphin swim then grab a thinner one for snorkeling.
5. We found chairs near the lockers, bathroom & freshwater pool & the dolphin swim area to be convenient.
6. Pick up your pics & put them in your locker. We were told that there were lines starting at 3:00.
7. Don't forget to see the bird aviary on the land. Don't just swim by. It is worth interacting w/ the birds by feeding them.
Lunch was great. Enjoy yourselves. It was a wonderful experience. After the craziness of the crowds at other theme parks, it was worth the price just to be somewhere w/ less than a 1,000 people for the day.
