Spent 2 days in the parks on 11/29 and 11/30. Arrived at AK for EMH on Wednesday around 6:50 am. Bag check started right at 7:00 am. We then moved to the turnstiles, where we were held until 7:30. After entering the park we began the walk to left into Discovery Island, Magic Bands were checked to confirm eligibility. Cast members walked the crowd to Pandora. It was orderly, I did not witness any pushing or shoving. We were off FOP by 8:05 am. The ride is AMAZING. It was my second time riding it and I am extremely impressed. We went directly to River Journey the wait was listed at 20 minutes but took about 10 minutes. From there we went to the Safari, the animals were extremely active. We actually had a rhino follow our truck.
We went to Magic Kingdom around 5:30 pm. It was crowded but not as bad as I expected. We had a 4th FP for POC and rode HM and BTMR. We secured a spot for HEA in grass in front of Casey’s. The view was great and the show was breathtaking!.
The next was spent at DHS and EP. We enjoyed the Holiday Kitchens. They were not nearly as busy as F&W booths. Watched Candlelight Processional, such a beautiful representation of the Christmas Season. The Holiday tag on Illuminations was nice touch.
It was my first trip during the holiday season, but it certainly won’t be the last. Enjoy your upcoming trips everyone.
