Long. I did try to make it briefish. Saturday Dec 3rd to 9th. Complete report

Yes that's right making over $1000 and of course you know how.

Cast MOM, Me: DH, DD turned 8 before we left, and our own stitch DS 5.

Saving money -- The five year old optted out NO stroller, Yahoo, we told the new 8 year old toughen up. We saved $18 a day. We do park our own car after the initial check in. And we do share meals, snacks, and drinks. And each kids wears a fanny pack with two pieces of candy each day that they can eat when they want. I know, I'm the cool parent.

Oh yeah, As I was looking for the Boardwalk bakery, I asked this guy carrying, I believe, A Beach Club mug. Where can I fill my mug? The guy tells me. Buy the mug and he almost shouts IT'S GOOD FOR LIFE. Of course I remember the thread about the mug with pictures, I almost could not contain my glee.

The Trip
Last Saturday our FIRST LIMO to the airport, uneventful to FL to Mariott on Augustia? They are underconstruction, Food there not for our kids, NO NO NO shuttle to food places, a wait for a taxi? a mere 45 minutes, we walked back to our hotel. DH NOT impressed.

Sunday we're off --back to the airport --a sweet deal $180 with tax for a SUV for a week- picked up the deal from THE DIS. Off to the Boardwalk picked up DDP keys. Then off to CRT GREAT picture with Cinderella, birthday card from the princesses and a free desert. Stayed at Magic Kingdom all day. Wait time for Winnie the Pooh 45 minutes, figured out fast pass and used it. Peco Bills for Supper. They do not ask if you are on the dining plan.

Monday Animal Kingdom Cool temp did not stay on a schedule which we should of, would have seen more. Saw the parade, Rode Everest two times in a row back to back, the second time did me in! The five year old "LOVED IT" Ate at Rainforest Cafe supper, last time for us at this place, we shared an appetizer (free), an entree, a kid meal, 4 drinks, and a VOLCANO and it was $63. Gave another family our coupon .99 cent for a kid meal another DIS savings, Got to share the love. At lunch the Pizza place, gave another family our extra desert. That night, made our Walmart run.

Tuesday slept in, breakfast in room. Quick trip downtown disney, DD took an interest in pin trading (of course her landyard and pins were at home) Ate Earl of Sandwich. I got the Hawaii BBQ, BBQ on the side, delicious, DH got the Turkey, cranberry sandwhich, which he liked. Kids shared PBJ. Bought stuff from Mickey's Pantry, CM there gave DD and DS each a trading pin. Off to MVMCP. Ate at Crystal Palace nice, very nice, great character interaction, another birthday desert. Tigger helped sing happy birthday.
Off to the party, lines not too bad, COLD, we stayed until midnight. Missed the free hot chocolate, cookies, and the picture. But we saw the Beast. I forgot, our kids got to ride with Jasmine and Aladdin on the Magic Carpet ride. I found a ticket left in the fast pass machine, and turned it in.

Wednesday slept in, breakfast in room, then off to BBB that took 15 minute wait time, but the event itself took at least 1/2 hour. Again very nice. My DD love loved it. We brought her outfit from home. She chose the Fairy princess package and she wore the long hair and outfit all day, we just had her nails polished, all day CMs fussed over her, she REALLY enjoyed the Disney love. I saw some girls have no outfits they seemed to enjoy it. Off to MGM again no schedule, would have been better with schedule and the meal set time threw us off, 4:55 Sci Fi. Last time for Sci Fi, pd cash, The kids, shared a hot dog and some our our meal and 3 drinks, DH hamburger -said good, me Onion rings and bowl of chili, I would get that again. They let us trade fruit for vegetables for the kid meal. $37.10 and a tip. Waiter not so good. Cold at night, skipped Fantasia. DD received two free pins from a CM, both Tinkerbells, they said "Where dreams come true." One to keep and one to give away which she did. Both kids rode the Tower with me.

Thursday breakfast in the room, swam, community hall, checked out the boardwalk. Decided DD was having a little going problem and got some medicine from Walgreens, a nice Walgreens, going to remember that place, had great autograph books for 2.99 with a border on every page.
I need a break from the constant go, DH does not like a down day, but our kids do need a down day. Ate at Big River on the Boardwalk, steak ok I did like the mashed potatoes and the cheesecake was to die for, meatloaf DH liked and he enjoyed his chocolate cake, but PBJ $4.50 with no desert counts as a sitdown credit? wow.

Friday Was going to go to Gatorland, but remembered from the DIS, do not go to MK on Saturday, long lines, So we went to Magic Kingdom, cold temp. We ate at Cape May breakfast-again good character interaction, nice food selection, and a very good server, birthday desert. Used the fast pass at MK for some rides, lines not bad, saw the 3:00 parade for the first time. We went to Chef Mickey's 7ish no ADR, waited but did get in. Good food selection, Very good character interactions, I had no idea, 5 characters are there. GREAT waiter Tim, I tipped him extra. Pluto helped sing happy birthday, free birthday desert. Found an Ariel trading pin. On the Buzz ride I found two tickets with fass passes for Space Mountain ( a family favorite) and turned them all in.

Saturday time to leave, I felt like the Boardwalk room was clean, we pick a standard view, I feel at night they are quieter. DH did say the faucet drips. Gatorland a slow event, fine for small children, can not say with teenagers I would spend a day there. Oh yeah I forgot in the AM, We stopped at Downtown disney to use up all of our snack credits at Goofy's candy. I
have two TWO carmel apples for me, fugde for DH and DD, cotton candy for DS. Then I went to the Earl, picked the first people in line, a family of four from England bought their breakfast, and then next family 8 bought their lunch, hey different time zones. We had 12 counter meals left. Figured save the Disney love.

OK THE MONEY DEAL, you guys know it, you taught me it. The airport, got there on time, you know 2 hours early, flight 6:20PM. DH hears $200 voucher, tells me, go ask, I reply, no you go ask. He comes back and tells me YOU have to go ask customer service. So I saunter over there, ask them what is the voucher offer, tells me not for your flight, then wait what is your flight, I show them our tickets, they check our flight ask how many in your party? They stated your flight is over booked so offer $200 voucher plus what you pd for your flight, there were no more flights out that night for Chicago, a hotel here for the night, and transportation back and forth and you can pick your travel time tomorrow, DH and I confer MANY TIMES call the limo, I go back tell them, If you can get our luggage off the plane, deal, DH wears contact and that 3 oz carry on luggage thing is a killer. OK its a go. Call the limo, change the time. Wait. Change again, You can go on the next flight out, change planes and get home tonight at 10:20PM. Hot dog, We don't have to get up at 5AM, that's the flight DH wanted 7:30AM. Ok I'll, I mean We'll do that, whistle, yell at husband across the airport, bring the kids to me. Then the guy states your flight leaves at 5:30PM, I check my watch and WHY THAT'S IN -- FOUR MINUTES, YIKES THE LIMO! call the limo again, fill in the paper work, grab that voucher, over $1000 good for one year, and run for the gate, of course they held the plane for us. Our luggage arrived before us, we grabbed it and jumped in the limo, and viola (as our DS loves to say) we're home.

I don't believe we will do DDP again, we don't mind sharing meals, the kids do not eat a lot, and I don't eat a lot when I ride rides. We don't mind sharing drinks, I'll drink water. We rarely eat desert. And the choices for the kids meals is mostly mac and cheese, hot dot, and PBJ. Every meal lunch and supper the same offering? I kept my receipts I'll check cost this week.

Any questions? I'll answer. And I was wondering about Buena Vista Suites, is it nice? Is it clean? Are the one bedrooms nice and big, bathrooms in it big? An indoor pool? Friendly? Do they have a website, we can view rooms, pool and such? Thanks.

The tickets I found were park tickets with hopper passes.
