Just Back...Quick Trip

We just got back from a quick trip for MNSSHP. We were there 10/22-10/24. The parks were not crowded at all!!!! We usually go in April, May or June. The longest wait we saw was 30 minutes and that was for Dumbo. We used Fast Pass some, but never waited more then 10 minutes for any ride.

Epcot was busy Saturday night ,but that was because of the Food and Wine Festival. The lines at the booths were very long and the World Showcase was packed!

We went to MNSSHP on Sunday the 24th. It was great! the decorations were great. My kids loved it, especially Trick or Treating!!! All of the rides were less than a 5 minute wait!! Even DUBMO!!! We had a great time....we saw the parade and the Headless Horsman (very cool and spooky!!!!). The fireworks were good....I like Wishes better, but they were good, especially the perimeter fireworks!

Highlight of the trip was my youngest DS got his first haircut at the Barber Shop!!!!

We will definitely go in October again!!!!

Quick question....are the mosquitoes still bad down there?? I am a mosquito magnet, even when I cover myself in DEET! LOL! I'm just hoping I don't come home covered in bites.

Yes...that is the only bad thing I have to say about the trip! I usually bring bug spray with me but I forgot it! Sunday night at the party there were horrible. I am also a mosquito magnet...they love to eat me. I have 16 bites and the rest of my famliy has maybe 2 or 3 each.

So...don't forget your spray!

When we were there 9/30-10/4 we didn't see 1 single mosquito and I was prepared for them. However, on our last morning I was reading the local paper. It had an article from the health department saying that within that week the mosquito population was going to become horrible.
