We just got back from a 7 day 7 night trip at POFQ on March 1 thru March 8. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. Here are just a few thoughts from our trip.

Pros:

Ohana - We decided to give Ohana another shot after a so so experience last year and we are glad we did because it was great this year.

Fastpass+ - It was great for us. No more running like a mad person at park openings to get a fastpass.

BOG lunch - We got the email our first day for the fastpass+ and I am glad we did it. The food was absolutely awesome and the decor inside is beautiful.

Disney buses - This was our best year yet for bus transportation. I was told that Disney put a system in place to deter scooter abusers. It must be true because there were so many fewer people getting on buses with scooters.

Magicband - It was very convenient.

Cons:

Flame Tree BBQ chicken - My mother in law and I both ate the chicken and both threw up hours later. It may just be a coincidence......

Teppan Edo - This place was built up to be the best hibachi experience ever. We sat 30 minutes past our reservation time, the food was bland, and the hibachi chef, while nice, was not the best.

Lost child - My wife found a lost girl and went to a DVC cast member. He was absolutely clueless of what to do. Thank goodness the child's father showed up within a few minutes. Is there a procedure in place for all cast members??

Frozen items - Need more inventory and selection.... If big box stores can get items, the Disney parks sure should be able to secure inventory.

Parks in general - It is time to do some updating like Universal Studios does!
 
The trip report link at the bottom of my message tells it all about the lost child experience at Disney. We lost my granddaughter at the playground in the AK and the CMs were worse than clueless. Thanks God some wonderful woman found her sitting crying in her stroller right outside the playground entrance -- yes, she walked, crying right by the CMs without being stopped -- and brought her back in. I was about to start shaking the nearest CM and demanding they turn off the %%^%^$^ music so we could page my DGD because my daughter and I had looked everywhere for her and we were in full panic mode. She came down a different slide than she came down the first time and couldn't find us and panicked.

We got NO help from the CMs at all. I went to the manager at Guest Relations and wasn't happy with him either-- his response was that "She couldn't have gotten out of the park without being stopped." Like that was our only concern. He then told me how his nephew used to get lost on purpose so he could get a plush toy from the CMs. What a nightmare. I still get upset talking about it but at least I can get through it without crying now.
