Spent 11 glorious days at Disney enjoying three meals a day (and more if you count our week off property). Since I don't want to make this post too long, I will break it up into breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Party included myself, my DH, my DS (22) and his girlfriend, and my DD (17). And, we all love to eat. So, here goes:

Donald's Breakfastosaurus - Our first time doing this and we are so glad we did. Our PS was for 8:10 and we arrived at the park about 7:45. We were the first group in and our "host" was Neil (what a character....get him if you can!). We were the first in the buffet line so no wait. The food was excellent (but no Mickey waffles) and the character interaction was great (including Neil). Everyone was so full that no one wanted lunch until after 3:00. I would definitely return.

Kona Cafe - Went for the tonga toast and the eggs benedict, shared with DD. I don't remember the tonga toast being so sweet...could only manage three bites...but the eggs were great. DH got the fruit plate (yummy) and others egg dishes. Great food, somewhat fast service. Would definitely return.

Concourse Steak House - We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality here. DD and DH got the smoked salmon platter, I got the eggs benedict (good!), DS and his friend got the sausage benedict (eggs, cheese, biscuit and sausage gravy) which they devoured. This is a great place to go for a non-character breakfast.

Boma - What can I say...still our favorite. The selection of foods is amazing (carved meats, omelet station, african specialties, baked goods, fruit and traditional breakfast fare). The frunch is terrific and the pressed coffee to die for. Both the hotel and restaurant are beautiful. No question here about returning.

Cape May Cafe - We stayed at the Beach Club, so this was a given. Of all the breakfasts, this is the one we like least (although the characters were fun) The food was just ok, nothing special. There are better places for the money.

Boardwalk Bakery - If you are staying at the Epcot resorts, this is the place to go for a quick, cheap breakfast. Everything from the breakfast burrito and the egg sandwich (think egg mc muffin) to the muffins, crumb cake, bagels, donuts and croissants (to name a few) was terrific. Fast and satisfying. Everyone's favorite fast food breakfast.

House of Blues Gospel Brunch - All I can say is do this if you can. I was hesitant to book it, but so glad that I did. While the show was ok, the food was incredible. Anything you can imagine in a brunch was included...omelet station, smoked salmon, shrimp, jambalaya, bread pudding, eggs, bacon and sausage... the list goes on and on. Amazing!!!

That's it for breakfasts...will report on other meals in other posts. Would be happy to answer any questions.

It seems the earlier the better for Donald's Breakfastsaurus! We cancelled a breakfast PS for Cape May in June & I think I made a good move!LOL

Great reviews! We are not big breakfast eaters, but I would like to try a restaurant or two on our next trip. Maybe Kona or Donald's. We have already tried Boma, and really liked it. Since we are staying at BWV, I think we will be heading to the Boardwalk Bakery, and bringing stuff back to our room!

To vicb...yes, HOB is kid friendly. The show invites the little ones up to perform. I think they will like it.

Thanks for the reviews.

It seems the earlier the better for Donald's Breakfastsaurus!

I think this is definitely true here. We had the latest PS on our trip and the buffet was completely picked over and not refilled. We said we would never go back, but so many people have had good experiences that we might have to try an early PS.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy CMC. This is one of our favorites!

Thanks for your reviews! I'm glad you enjoyed the Concourse Steakhouse. I love their breakfast and go there a few times each vacation for the Magic Kingdom Express. :D

Breakfast is really important for us on vacation. Concourse Steak House is one of our new favorites. You mentioned some things we'll have to try next time! We missed our PS for Donald's in May. We'll have to make a point to get back there.

Thanks for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews!!!!
