Thanksgiving it rained all day! Friday we got up to load the car and the wind was gusting at 40mph!! It was miserable trying to load the suitcases. On the way we had a flat tire and had to stop in Live Oak, FL at the Wal-Mart to get a new tire!! A 2 1/2 hour delay!! There goes some of my Disney money... Finally we are on our way. It is still raining off and on. We arrive into a very cold Orlando at 6:30pm. After checking in to our "off property" motel we hurry over to DTD to shop. No parking to be found. We end up parking at the West Side and walking back. I am freezing by the time we get to the Marketplace. It is very busy. But I knew it would be...It is the day after Thanksgiving afterall. We finally eat supper at 11pm and head back to our room. Saturday we get up to a chilly 34 windchill. I am determined to have fun! I could not believe people where wearing shorts! Most people had on jackets, gloves and hats. We had alot of fun even tho it was cold. Magic Kingdom did not seem to get crowded until after lunch. Mickeys Philharmagic is wonderful. We got the fastpass for that. Lines got long fast. I was to cold to stay for the new fireworks show. I'll see it in July. Disney was WONDERFUL even in the cold. The workers were all joking about being in "sunny, warm Florida" Oh yeah, The 75 Mickey statues are still in front on the Magic Kingdom. Some are outside of the security area, some are between security and ticket gate, the rest are inside by the railroad. All are worth stopping to look at. I really enjoyed our short trip. Now I am looking forward to a more relaxed week in July. If you are going soon...be sure to take your jacket! ºoº
