We just got back from 5 days (sigh, can't believe its over!) and here are our dining experiences. We are a couple with two kids ageds 10 & 8 so that gives you an idea of our family. Also, we are not picky and love to eat!

Rainforest Cafe: Ate at the Animal Kingdom one. We love RFC and always enjoy ourselves there. The food was excellent and the service was faster than the last time. We have the Safari Club which is so nice, no ps needed! My kids are always able to get by with sharing the kids fried shrimp here, it is a huge portion. DH and I shared the appetizer sampler and the China Island Chicken Salad. Couldn't finish the salad. Wish I had some now!

Liberty Tree Tavern: Ate here last Wednesday night. We had eaten here last trip and loved it. Decided this needed to be our first night at MK ritual. The food was excellent but really slow service. We had a 7:00 p.s and Spectro was at 9:00. We arrived at 6:45 and were seated by 6:55. Did not leave this place until 8:40. This caused us to not get a spot for Spectro so we skipped it thinking we could go the next night. Unfortunately, DH was not feeling too well the next night so we ended up not seeing Spectro. I will never cut it that close again. We waited over 30 minutes for our salad. It was no more crowded than our last visit so I don't know what the problem was. Last time they had some people on little walkie talkie things going around telling somebody where each table was at and if they were ready for the next course. It went like clockwork. We woud finish, they would clear the plates and bring the next course. Not that way at all this time. Long gaps between gigs. Great food however so all was forgiven!

POR Food Court. Ate several meals there. Mostly stuck to burgers, nachos, salads and grilled cheese. All very good. Although the resort was near capacity (heard that on the bus), never seemed crowded at the food court. Not nearly as noisy as the food courts at POP and ASMO. Very convenient and good food every time.

Sci Fi Dine In: Know a lot of people think the food here is no good but we love it. It is so quiet in there! This was our third time and I am always amazed at how all the kids behave (mine included). Those old, goofy movie clips keep everybody happy. Always fast service. I had the reuben, DH had a burger and the kids had mac and cheese. Our server was so nice. DD left her lanyard in there with maybe $120-150 worth of pins on it and thank goodness somebody turned it in! We are creatures of habit and could never be at WDW and not eat here.

1900 Park Fare Breakfast: We enjoyed this a lot. We had an 11:00 ps and were seated very quickly. It was still crowded but began thinning out since it was so late. The first go around the characters (esp Tigger) were very rushed. They came around again however at the end and spent more time. Mary Poppins was in the lobby and must be Julie Andrew's daughter. She looked just like her! The food was very good and very hot. We preferred this breakfast over the food at Chef Mickey's (like CM for dinner better). The Grand Floridian was just beautiful. We had a great meal and a great time.

San Angel Inn: This was okay. Maybe when my daughter spilled her lemonade all over me it just got off to a bad start! DH liked his margaritas but twe both thought the food was overpriced. We have eaten at the Cantina across from San Angel Inn on the water and think that food is the same for less than half. Would not do this again. Our dinner was $80 with tip. We had fun even though I was sticky the whole time!

Casey's Corner. Ended our trip with hot dogs last night while we watched Wishes. Great as usual! Also had hot dogs at Fantasmic and they were good too. Strange thing is, none of us like hot dogs. Guess it is that Disney magic!

We used our Disney Dining Experience card (second trip). This has more than paid for itself two times over and we will manage to squeeze two more trips out of it. I love to save money while I pig out!!

At the 1900 Breakfast there was: Mary Poppins (in waiting area only), Alice, Tigger, Pooh and Suzy (mouse from Cinderella).

It sounds like you had some nice meals! Thanks for the reviews. :)

I ate there in March 2004 and wasn't a huge fan either. The food and service were okay, but there are many other places at WDW I'd rather eat! I'm glad I tried it though! :)
