Hi.
Just back from a wonderful trip with DD age 9.
Did MVMCP Nov. 30th.
Loved it.
Here are some tips and details:
We were able to enter the park at 4:30 PM with just our MVMCP tickets and received our wristbands.
We had dinner at CP at 5 PM then went to Tomorrowland.
We were able to get our picture taken right away. (which I strongly advise because I saw long lines later all night).
We then rode Tomorrowland, Fantasyland rides. All were walkons. We rode HM, BTMR. All were walkons.
We rode Splash 3 times in a row without getting out of the log and we rode with my DD in front row and me in second row and had whole log to ourselves. (we have a GREAT picture: a special one with snow and Christmas hats on Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox).
We rode Pirates, Jungle Cruise and everything else. All were walkons while the first parade was going on.
We saw Wishes at 9:15.
Stayed for most of the castle show then went to see Mickey's Twas the night before Xmas show at 10:30.
Watched the second parade at 10:45. It was fabulous.
Went to Tomorrowland and rode Buzz and got hot chocolate and cookies. We took our time getting out of the park taking pictures and seeing the "snow" on main street.
Caught a bus right away with no wait.
Here is the schedule I picked up just for you, my DIS friends:
(PS I was bummed: I did not see any Dissers)
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade: 8:15 and 10:45
Wishes 9:15
Mickeys Twas the Night Before Christmas Show (Galaxy Palace theater in Tommorowland) 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, 9:30, and 10:30
Celebrate the Season Show (Castle stage) 7:00, 9:30, 12:00
Goofy's Country Dancin Jamboree Celebrates the Holidays show
(Diamond horseshoe saloon) in Liberty Square) 7:30, 8:45, 10:00
Belles Enchanted Christmas Storytelling (fantasyland pavilion)
7:30, 8:40, 9:30, 10:20, 11:10
Snowflake Special Storytelling (Fairytale Garden in Fantasyland)
7:25, 8:05, 8:55, 10:15, 11:30
Lake Howell Holiday Brass Band (Tomorrowland Stage)
6:45, 7:45, 8:45
All in all, a great time.
They also have special merchandise that is only available at the party. We got really cute sweatshirts and the pin. (You are allowed two pins and they mark it on your bracelet when you buy it). The free picture is one per adult in the family, but I "whined nicely" and they told me I could get two!
Make sure you schedule yourself a rest day the next day. We were wiped out and just hung out till night.
I would be happy to answer any questions.
