Hi All, :)

Just back, well last Saturday but time does fly im sure !! :sad2:

Well 18 days went by and we had an amazing time again, so much to talk about but just some highlights..

Thomas Cook Flights - Good again, did have a 2 hour delay flying out due to technical issue & about 30 mins returning due to bad weather in Miami. But apart from that all fine, Immigration no issues flew through in about 20 mins, shame luggage took even longer to appear...

Weather - Great can only call it as we found it, So HOT our first week even the locals were moaning over 100 with heat index, didn't see much rain or storms just the usual Florida stuff but this seemed less this year or we just dodged them by luck, 1 day/afternoon when we had the remains of Erika but we were travelling from Orlando to Key Largo so it didn't bother us, apart from me who had to drive for 4 hours in it.... 8-)

Disney AoA Resort - As good as ever, great room as we requested and love the resort so much for a value. CM all great, food court ace, buses very good and Pools good fun....

Parks - Brilliant we did so much, we seemed to get more done this time then ever we used FP+ well, don't think we had a standby line more than 35 mins and on average about 15/20 mins for the whole time. Disney Parks still seemed fairly busy but we hit them at rope drop in our 1st week and managed to get around so much on one day I think we got 7 FP+ plus all the standby lines on top. In our second week the crowds dropped off so much that we pretty much covered all of IOA from rope drop and was back in car by 1.30pm on way to Resort.. Also did the Disney water parks this time and had a ball went to TL & BB not sure what was the best very similar surprised how busy they were but still enjoyed.

Food and Shopping again were amazing so much choice and value for both, so many bargains and the outlets / clearance filled a whole suitcase with goodies for our return flight and finally we managed to do the KITCHEN SINK @ Beach Club Resort... Mmmm made us feel a bit like this afterwards :rolleyes2.....

Key Largo - Hotel was great stayed at Hilton Key Largo resort for 5 nights and for what we paid it was a steal, got a upgrade for a Sea View, private beaches and Pools. It was a total opposite to Orlando so laid back and quiet and in all not much to do but we did expect that. So we had lazy mornings, lots of pool time and did surface snorkeling in the bay that was amazing we saw so many different fish and rays up close and on our final day we even had a manatee visit us , my god it was massive !!! Not sure if we would go again to Key Largo we tried this out this year for a change and it might of been too quiet for us, we normally go to the gulf coast to chill out around Clearwater so probably back that way next time we think or maybe try Vero Beach area....

So much more but don't want to bore you all and I am at work so better get back to that now :sad2:

See you soon, hopefully more planning to come :)

Sounds like a fab trip :goodvibes.
Think there must have been loads of us Dis families out there in August judging by the minitrip reports. We went to Longboat key, Sarasota for 3 nights-might be worth you taking a look at for next time-it's beautiful. We also were lucky enough to be swimming one day and a manatte swam along side us-initially just looked like a big blob but then stuck it's very cute little nose out of the water and we loved it. Not sure how I'd feel about snorkelling with stingray in the ocean though! :thumbsup2
