Just back Loved FW

We were at FW in cabin 2134 from May 14-19. This was our first stay and I must say what a gem!!!!

It was really quite until Friday when people started arriving for the Ironman competition. The loop behind us I believe 1100 was empty as was the one across the street from it until Friday. We just really felt relaxed and away from everything. The kids could run around and not have to worry about being too loud, the campfire sing-a-long was very cute, the pony rides, the boat ride to MK. Having an armidillo scare the heck out of me one night while walking, this place was great and so much to do. We were very sad to leave.

I now see why you all love it so much.

Glad you had a great time! I know about not wanting to leave, I could personally live there. Was this your first trip to FW?

This was our first stay. I've been there for Hoop Dee Doo but that's it.

You just found out what I've known for 18 years!! Fort Wilderness is wonderful!! It's a great place to come "home" to at night, after a busy day at the parks!
