Just Back - June 19-26 Mini TR

We got back last week from 9 days in Orlando with June 19-26 spent at WDW. We stayed offsite and I took 3 newbies for their first trip. I was VERY concerned because I am a childless adult that has mostly been to Orlando in October. I was taking 2 children for the first time but also in the hot and crowded summer! Plus we were offsite!

We had a GREAT time! I can not overemphasize the importance of arriving prior to park opening and really using FP to your advantage. If you do these things you will have a great trip and the crowds and heat will be manageable. We did everything we wanted to easily. We only took an afternoon break on our MK day, which worked for us.

I would prefer to not go at this time again but if you have to, I say go for it and enjoy!

Thank you for posting this. We are going next June, about the same dates you went. We have never been there during the summer but have no choice b/c my daughter's dance company is performing those dates. I am having slight anxiety about the heat and crowds!
