Enjoyed reading your reports ~ Thanx for posting.

Thanks for all the responses, guys! I'm still on cloud 9 from our trip. We got our pictures developed yesterday. We have around 200. We can really bore our friends and family with all those!

Lynn71092 - the video postcard is a blast! When you get off the ride, there is a whole big area with interactive exhibits and games to play. There are several kiosks with computers in them. You go in and touch the screen and follow the directions. It tells you to look at the camera and move your body around and it records you. Then you choose the background for your video (we chose alien spaceships) and it inserts your little video into the background. Then you key in your email address and the email address of whoever you want to send it to. You can key in a message to them also. It creates a Quick Time file and emails it!

When the person you sent it to gets the email, it has a link for them to follow and view the video. When I went to view it, I had to download the Quick Time player from iTunes. No problem, it's a free download. After downloading you install the Quick Time player and you can view your little video. It stays out there on Disney's website for 90 days and you can view it as many times as you want.

There was another deal kinda like this at the end of the Journey Into Your Imagination at Epcot. When you exit the ride you go into a Kodak Picture Lab. This lets you take a still picture and email it to somebody back home, so they can see what a wonderful time you are having. You can morph yourself into an animal, flower, etc. You could really eat up a lot of time in the fun exit areas of these rides! Not to mention, there is usually a gift shop attached that you have to walk through, too!

Thanks for the great reports. I had a great time reading them. I'm so glad you had such a wonderful experience for your first WDW trip. I bet you can't wait to you can go again. We will be visiting the world in 7 weeks.

I love this pic of the castle as the sun is going down:

This was Breakfastosauraus in Animal Kingdom. I just wish I had some makeup on! Think it looks OK?

This one is so good! Love this one! Downtown Disney, in front of the super wonderful Lego store:

Our first time meeting Pluto!

I'm thinking of using one of these for our Christmas cards. Which one do y'all think would be the best?

VickiL - This was your FIRST trip to DisneyWorld? You obviously did your homework and learned a lot from the Boards before your trip. You sound just like an "old-timer" who's been there multiple times. Congratulations on a successful first trip, and an excellent trip report. I enjoyed your enthusiasm and detailed descriptions.
I like the picture of you and your family with Goofy and Donald for a postcard.

Suflay

Hi Suflay1! Thanks for that nice compliment! I DID do a lot of research and reading on these boards before going. Everyone on here is so helpful. I read a lot in the Unofficial Guide, too. Going to Disney World unprepared would not be a good thing!

OK, so that's one vote for using the pic of us with Goofy and Donald for our Christmas card - even though I don't have on makeup I would still use it! Anybody else care to give your opinion?

I vote for the Pluto picture, but they're all great shots!

Thanks so much for sharing your trip report! I've really enjoyed reading it. You're a fantastic writer!

I had a blast reading all your reports! Sounds like y'all had a great time with tons of pixie dust moments. Don't worry about the diet being blown. You just can't help splurging on vacation after all. Hope you get to go back soon!

I don't see your pics? :confused3
