Thanks for all the responses, guys! I'm still on cloud 9 from our trip. We got our pictures developed yesterday. We have around 200. We can really bore our friends and family with all those!
Lynn71092 - the video postcard is a blast! When you get off the ride, there is a whole big area with interactive exhibits and games to play. There are several kiosks with computers in them. You go in and touch the screen and follow the directions. It tells you to look at the camera and move your body around and it records you. Then you choose the background for your video (we chose alien spaceships) and it inserts your little video into the background. Then you key in your email address and the email address of whoever you want to send it to. You can key in a message to them also. It creates a Quick Time file and emails it!
When the person you sent it to gets the email, it has a link for them to follow and view the video. When I went to view it, I had to download the Quick Time player from iTunes. No problem, it's a free download. After downloading you install the Quick Time player and you can view your little video. It stays out there on Disney's website for 90 days and you can view it as many times as you want.
There was another deal kinda like this at the end of the Journey Into Your Imagination at Epcot. When you exit the ride you go into a Kodak Picture Lab. This lets you take a still picture and email it to somebody back home, so they can see what a wonderful time you are having. You can morph yourself into an animal, flower, etc. You could really eat up a lot of time in the fun exit areas of these rides! Not to mention, there is usually a gift shop attached that you have to walk through, too!
