ahem,donning flame suit before I start
well, we got back- and wanted to note for anyone deciding on a hotel.... we stayed at 3 total,but one was DVC, the other 2 were All star music,and Pop. I know,lots of people here seem to like Pop,we were NOT impressed.
Of all the places we've stayed(and we've stayed at a lot over the years) this hotel made us feel like we didn't matter. the bus lines are horrendous,we used them maybe 3 times at Pop,and they were BAD every time. very very bad. I can't understand a hotel that has maybe 4 bus stops for the volume of people needing to ride,it's just a shame.
Noisy rooms,could hear pipes and water noise all the time-but we liked the food court choices,good prices(for Disney
) and lots to choose from. It's too bad,as it's very cute in theming,but this is a NEVER again place for us.
Now it's not price snobbery,as the all star music buses were just fine,and while the OKW bus system was the best,the All Stars were very acceptable too- we enjoyed our stay here,though the food court was somewhat small- we walked over to the movies court for dinner,I think we may try that hotel next trip
So I recommend not staying at Pop unless you have a car,which sort of negates the savings of using on property buses.....
Another note, we tend to stay at hotels where we can enjoy the theming and atmosphere as much as running to parks,so depending on your priorities,our needs weren't met at Pop.
