Cinderella Gala Feast- Yuck food, nice character interaction, good service

50's Prime Time Cafe- Good food, fun for kids, service- just ok

Earl of Sandwich- great sandwiches- I had the Origional- yummy!!!!

Alfredo's in Italy- service- ok, food very good.

We saved a ton with the DDE card!! We actually had just the letter and when we got home from the trip yesterday what do I find in my mail box
??? A DDE card!!- Oh well, we'll have it for next trip!!

Any questions- just ask!!! :earsboy:

If the DDE card is good for only one year from when you apply would you suggest I wait until right before I am ready to leave to order it. How long did it take you to get your letter? :flower:

what was wrong with the food at the gala feast ??
hope you had a good time

We also made PS at Boma for braekfast. I absolutely have to check the AKL out. Is breakfast there the usual stuff or is there something special you tried out?

We are also doing WCC, Cinderella Gala feast, and sci-fi. Hope we have a better time at cindy's.

Cristbaby- I ordered mine on May 11 and my visa card was charged about a week later. We left for vacation on June 16th. I called that day and the CM told me that my card was mailed and be sure to check my mail before leaving. He could not fax me anything for security reasons. Well, it was not there so he also said that a letter would be waiting for me at the guest relations outside of EPCOT and I could pick it up as soon as I arrived. So that is what I did. The letter states the card is valid through June 30, 2006. So we plan to use it on our next trip. We are going back in the beginning of June next year. Also if you do not have the card you have to have an ID with the letter to get the discount.

Natalielongfeast and Lillygator- The selection for little ones was better than the adult selection. My children liked the pasta tossed in olive oil and the chicken nuggets. My party said the salad was very good- the best of all the selections. I had some of the shrimp and asparagus fetticini. It was ok. I also had the prime rib- it was luke warm- like it had been out a while, even though it was freshly sliced. The desserts was the worst- the rice krispie treat was stale!! The brownie was also stale and the chocolate chip cookie was ice cold. Not very appitizing!!

Uncleomulis- The dress is "smart casual". That's what I was told when I made the ressie. We joked and said to one another that we left all of our "smart clothes" at home- ha ha. Some wore shorts, I wore capri dress jeans, some had on dresses, my husband wore shorts with a polo type shirt tucked in. We had the olive flatbread to start- yum!! My husband had the tomato and cucumber salad- sounds plain but the presentation was beautiful and he said it was very good. The children had grilled cheese and a bowl of mac and cheese- both liked it. For entrees we had the filet minoin (sp?) and it came with the same mac and cheese as the child's menu- strange- but it was very good. My husband had the roasted chicken with mashed potatos- very good too. For dessert we had the pistachio creme brulee- excellent and beautiful presentation- so much that I took a picture of it!!

NluvwithMickey- The AKL is beautiful. We had 5 night booked and ended up staying an extra night. We had some pixie dust and were upgraded from a standard view to a pool view. We ate Boma breakfast twice. They did have other "odd" selections but my family and I did not try any. They have an omelet station where you can get an omelet made to order and all the other regulars like bacon, freshly sliced ham (very good) and pork (kinda dry). They have cereal, cinammon rolls, breads, waffles and pancakes. The fruit was very good. But the best thing was the juice they serve. I think they call it Frunch. It is to die for!! Loved it- went back on our last morning just for that!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps all of you- any more questions??

Wow - I have always thought 1900 had quite a variety....I wonder if they have changed it since May?

and there were quite a few desserts too....??

DDE is a card that costs $50 for AP holders outside of Florida and is good for 1 year. Basically you get 20% off most TS restaurants ( including alcohol) and some counter service at resorts. Do a search and you will find lots of info in DIS Boards.
