Hi everyone! We just got back from FW, and I'm missing is already.
We had a GREAT time! We were in loop 800, which was the loop I was hoping for. My parents followed us down, and they got in the spot right beside us. We arrived at FW around 11:30, they they got us right in. We had a golf cart for the entire week, and I think it was worth every penny. The parks were crowded, but we did the tour in the morning, campground in the afternoon, and back to the parks in the evening. It was nice to take a break in the afternoon before going back to the parks. I could have spent most of our time at the Fort though - I absolutely LOVED the Fort! Here's how we spent our days:
Arrival day - Arrived at 11:30 / Chef Mickey's for dinner
Day 1 - Animal Kingdom / Boma for dinner
Day 2 - Magic Kingdom / Crystal Palace for dinner
Day 3 - Hollywood Studios / Brown Derby for dinner / Fantasmic
Day 4 - Rest day / Downtown Disney
Day 5 - Magic Kingdom
Day 6 - Rest Day / Trails End for breakfast / Hoop Dee Doo for Dinner
Day 7 - Epcot
Day 8 - Checked out / Entered into deep depression!
It cost us right around $1,000 total to tow from Ohio to the Fort and back home. Thankfully we didn't encounter any travel problems on the trip though.
I'll get some pictures posted soon. I took over 600 photos while we were there. I think my DD15 is glad to get the break from the camera for a while!
Thanks again for everyone's guidance the past year. Your info made our trip much more enjoyable since we were well prepared! We've started saving again for our next trip, but it's probably going to be around 4 years until we can go back since it's so far from home.
I guess I'll have to get my fix here on the boards to try to pass the time!
Thanks again everyone!!!
