Just Back! Got Dream Passes at MK

We just got back on Sunday from a 5 day 40th Birthday and Thanksgiving holiday trip. We started at EPCOT on Wednesday and finished the day with a Wishes cruise that night. It was a surprise for my DW's 40th bday! She wanted to go back to the room since we had gotten in late the night before so we had to drag her out to the boat dock and point out the boat with the balloons and Happy Birthday Banner. She perked up for the cruise but crashed as soon as we got back to the room. We had dinners at the GF Cafe (fair at best), LTT (our favorite in-park) and Boma's (our all time Favorite). We celebrated Thanksgiving dinner at LTT on Friday since I couldn't get ADR's for Thanksgiving. We cancelled ADR's at Crystal Palace for Thr since we were at MGM and didn't feel like hopping. We wanted to watch Fantasmic instead. We went to all 4 parks and spent 2 days at EPCOT (left on Sunday mid-day to drive home). All the kids got candy from the candy lady in Japan on our 1st try! She is really amazing! We also got to ride Nemo and see the Nemo show at AK.

The coolest part - other than the Wishes Cruise (our first time) - was getting the Dream Pass at MK on Friday! We were racing to catch the train in Toon Town and were about the last family to load. When we walked through the turn style they said we had won something. They pulled us to the side and gave us all a Dream Pass (5 of us). Even our DS2 got one- probably because he saw us getting one and he then proceeded to ask while reaching for it. We kept his whole since he didn't really need to use FP's and let him use mine (thinking it was his). We wanted to have one for a souvenir.

Although it was crowded as expected we had a great time! We are heading back for New Year's so we are counting down the days! Only 4 weeks to go!

Congrats! I'd have a hard time using a dream pass, too. I'd want to keep one!

A dream pass (correct me if I'm wrong)......as part of the Year of a Million Dreams, cast members have been giving out special treats - such as mouse ears, the park to yourself, certificates etc. The dream fastpass allows immediate fastpass access to 6 attractions in a park - there is a little tear of strip with the name of the attraction on it.

Yes, a dream pass gives you 1 fast pass for each attraction at that park that has fast pass. We got an MK Dream Pass which had a FP for 9 attactions: BTMR, Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Cruise, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Pooh, Stich, Splash, Space and Peter Pan.
