I must say that this was one of the most magical trips yet. We arrived in Orlando at 9:45 after leaving Boston logan airport at 7:10. It was the smoothest flight yet. (I am at the world every six months so I have taken many plane trips.) We rented our SUV from National and headed to the Yatch Club. I origainally had booked a dtandard view room however I did fax a letter the morning before asking if they could possible give us a magical view and boy did they. We checked in at 10:30am and as soon as I gave my name the counter women mentioned that we were upgraded to a water view room. I was happy and said thank you very much it was kind of them to do that however whenever my family and I entered our room we could not believe it. We were in room 4085 it was a side view of the water but it was overlooking the wedding gazebo and facing right in front of the Epcot fireworks!!!!!! How magical is that. We were able to watch 2 evening weddings from the balcony and fireworks every single night. The first day we just headed down to Epcot for a while and tasted all the different wines from around the world. We had dinner ressie at the Yatchmen steakhouse so we headed there at 6:30 I must say this was one of the best meals I had the whole entire trip. My better half and myself both got the Land and Sea which constist of filet mingon and lobster tail with smashed potatoes. Everythign was out of this world. We also had a bottle of wine with this however I foerget what that was. My daughter just got the chicken tenders and steak fries. We also had desert I had the sampler plate which was fabulous, a little of everything and DH had the sorbet and disney daughter had the artist plate desert. Really a neat desert for kids. THey are able to paint the cup cake with different color icing and a puzzle made of white choclate. Anyway this meal was by far a 10.
Oct 30th -The next day we headed to Animal Kingdom where we had breakfast ressies at Donald Breakfastsaurus. It was a buttet breakfast with characters and I must say that it was ok. I would rather go to Chef Mickey Breakfast than this one. After breeakfast we headed into the park and done just about everything. We have been here about 12 times so we know exactly when and how to see things here. We were done by early afternoon and decided to head to Blizzard Beach. We just relaxed the rest of the afternoon at Blizzard Beachuntil around 4:00 and then we headed back to the hotel to get ready for ressies at Flying fish Cafe at 6:00. Flying Fish Cafe was another fabulous meal. I had the squash ravioli and my DH had tenerloin and DD had pasta. Everything was delicious I had the banana napoleaon for desert and let me tell you I cant wait to go back for another. It just melts in your mouth. After dinner we headed back to the hotel to watch the fireworks again and then hit the sack.
Oct 31-Halloween We headed to Chef Mickeys at 8:30 am for breakfast. I must say that I always feel like a kid when I am at this place. I love swinging my napkin in the air and singing the let's party song. After breakfast we headed to the YC pool for the afternoon. What a really fun nice pool. My daughter loved it. It has quick sand and a lazy man river and bubbling water and ship slide and ohh sand bottom pool. how nice. This was a nice relaxaing day. We headed back to the room around 3:00 for all to take a nap for MNSSHP. and then we got ready to go. We headed down to Board walk first since the stores there were passing out candy then headed oever to the kingdom. My daughter was Cruella De Villa I was a purle and black striped witch and my DH was a war lord. ( WE were suppose to be dalmations however I could not find the costumes). We entered the park and they attendant was already giving out bags of candy. Everything was nicely decorated and it was a great place to be on Halloween. They had a kids parade and we took a family pic and we seen the parade in which Cruella in the Parade went right over to my daughter and said she looked WONDERFUL DARLING. Also when getting Cruella autograph in line behing the haunted mansion my daughter went to stand in the very long back of the line and she called my daughter to the front and said that only if you looked like her then you were able to get her autograph first. My DD was sooo excited about this. The night ended a little early it was about 9:30-9:45 when we left. We stood at the monorail pathway watching the electric water parade until the end. At the end they had all the floats lit up as the American Flags with stars. It was really nice to see.
Nov1st-Cindy's Castel for breakfast. This is always nice to do if you have a daughter. All the princesses are there along with the prince and the food is not so bad either. My favorite is the stuffed french toast. We stayed at the kingdom for a while and did our favorite things to do and then headed back to the hotel around 4:00 and went to the pool again. This was pleasant just to be relaxing and my DD was happy so it made us happy as well. Afterwards went down to the Boardwalk and played some games went to the candy shop and the bakery and had a relaxing night. Watched the fireworks from Epcot (cant forget that)
Nov 2- Slept late and then Went to Epcot and walked around again. Checked out all the neat things they had. My daughter bought something different to show her class from each world and had a great day. Went to YC for early Dinner around 4:00 and had crab and shrimp cake sandwich was good but smelled a little funny. Went to room to get ready for universals halloween horror nights party and headed to Universals on the way I started getting heart flashes and then my stomach started felling really painful and then I began to get sick. Really sick. We headed back to the hotel and I spent most of the night in the bathroom. We unfortunaltey missed this show and I think it was because it was bad seafood. Oh well. Nov3-woke up around 8 am feeling alot better and we were going to head out to MGM to see my favorite soaps. OOOHHHHH MMMYYYYYY GGOOOODDDD!!! I did not need to go to MGM at all it turned out that they were staying just down the hall from me and were now in the elevator with me. Susan Lucci and her husband Fiona Huges, Cameron, Kiko you name it they were there. I treated them with respect and did not ask for an autograph however my daughter could not help herself. She wanted one at least one she kept telling me so she waited until we were out of the elevator and asked Fiona Huges for hers. My daughter always would watch All my Children with me when she was not in school. We ended up seeing the stars for the next 3 days at the hotel. AT night in the morning all getting in there Cadillacs but I must say they were very very nice. They said hello when they seen us. THey did not diclose us from getting into an elevator with them and they even sat down in the chairs near us in the hotel lobby. It was really cool.( As my DD would say) At MGM we had lunch at Sci Fi It si one of our to do's whenever we go and then we watched 3 shows of WWTBAMillionare with the stars because it is my daughters very favorite game and let me tell you it was alot of fun. I have not laughed so much in a long time. Especially when Leo from All My children had his turn. I could not stop laughing the entire show. GREAT JOB LEO!!!!! Afterwards we just relaxed and headed to Board walk once agian and ate something quick there for dinner it was a great day.
Nov 4th Headed to Universals and IOA ate lunch at Hard Rock Cafe and had a great day here. Things never change here so we just did the same as usual. Great rides and shows and it was a good looonngg day.
Nov 5th check out and headed to the Florida Premium outlets. WOW we bouhgt soooo much stuff there that we need to buy another set of Samsonite Luggage. They had the Versace store Tommy H CK Levi Adias. You name it they had it. It is something similar to what we have here at Raynthem Outlets but alot bigger. After we shopped we headed to Disney Quest. We played for about 2 hours here and then headed to the air port for a 7:15pm flight back to Boston. I must say that this trip was full but relaxing and exciteing. Now if Only I can get DD to let me book our regular trip which should be for MVMCP. ( this trip was because my dd wanter to try the halloween party) We usually go down every May and Dec. I will keep my fingers crossed.
