thank you yea my dad was worried that the resort wouldn't be that great for us but he(and so do me and my mom) LOVE this resort! It's the perfect location with the buses and boats and the views, rooms, resteraunts, and shops are great!
There are so many fun things to do there.

thanks It's very easy to love the Y&B resorts! LOL okay I just woke up from a much needed nap LOL...so as soon as I can I will get it up. I'm not sure if I can have pics up by tonight, but I will try my best!

So the day that we would be at WDW was here!! Don't things just seem more magical on the day you leave for Disney?!? Like everything is right in your life and you can almost taste that Disney popcorn in your mouth.

Well we all got up around 7:30am and since I was already packed, I helped my mom with her last-minute packing. My mom and I dropped off our two dogs at the kennel around 9:00am. (My dad decided to stay home and load up the truck we'd be taking and do some last-minute cleaning). Truthfully we were now one hour off schedule, but the great thing about vacations is that you can just relax and not worry. And just because we're one hour off doesn't mean we can't stop for some much needed food! My mom decided to stop at Dunkin Donuts so we could get some breakfast.

A minor detour!
Okay well long story short...my phone got wet a few weeks ago and stopped working. My mom wanted to stop out right then and there to get me a new phone! One problem...it was only 9:30am by the time we got to Sprint. And Sprint doesn't open till 10:00am. Oh well....I wouldn't get a new phone for this trip, but that's probly for the best because I didn't want to be distracted by texting and people calling me.

After we realized we were too early to get a phone, we headed back to our house. All we had to do when we got home is jump in the truck and leave!
Disney Get Ready For Us!

Now we are on our way to Disney! I was sitting in the backseat listening to my iPod and trying to contain my excitment! I already knew that my parents wanted to stop at Best Buy in Sanford to get a Laptop...which I am currently using to type this Trip Report! LOL It didn't take us long at all to go in, find the Toshiba laptop, and get checked out.
LOL And me being the person I am, I wanted to know if they had a 3-D TV that we could see. They did and we all looked at it. It was playing Monsters VS Aliens and it was very cool! (For that price it better be cool...) For two glasses it was about $400.00!

Now we were headed straight to Disney. Since we live close to Disney it only takes about an hour to get there.
We lucked out and didn't have any traffic at all!
We got to the Yacht Club at 4:00pm and got greeted and checked in.
We were home as of now

We got to our room...first floor...right off of the lobby hallway. Room #1149.
It was a handicapped room and at first we wanted a change, but it was a good view, very close to the lobby, close to the pool and transportation, and of a course it means a bigger bathroom and ect.
So we kept the room. Just a few minutes after entering our room someone knocked at the door. It was our bags being delivered. The guy who delivered them was very helpful and quite nice to share information with and talk to.

So now that we had checked out the view from our porch/balcony and unpacked everything, it was now 4:30pm. Me and my mom decided to do something.....check out Stromalong Bay!! I LOVE that pool!! My dad stayed in the room to get the laptop hooked up to the internet and get everything figured out.

We had planned to go to Animal Kingdom since they had Extra Magic Hours. We got out of the pool and headed back to the room. We all got ready for the heat, crowds, and were prepared for anything and everything this place could throw at us. We rarely go this early in summer because of the crowd and heat, but it was a Father' Day gift.

We left the room at 6:30pm and went to catch a bus for Animal Kingdom.
The bus service was very nice for us. So were the boats, but more on the boats later.

We arrived and were in our first park of the vacation!

Just Saying For Future Reference
My dad does not go on many rollercoaster lately because of high-blood pressure so I just figured I'd let you know why he wouldn't be going on with us on some rides.
Okay now back to Animal Kingdom...

We decided not to overplan anything (as soon as you start overplanning, that's when everything starts to go down hill LOL)
So we first headed to eat dinner at the flaming tree. The food there is very good. I recommend it!

After lunch, we headed to Dinosaur, which was about a 20-30 minute wait.
I really love that ride! It WAS my favorite before this trip, you will learn what my new favorite ride is later.
After we got off the ride it started to look dark.Some of the darkness was because of it starting to become night and some was from it looking like it was getting ready to rain.

We then headed to ride Everest. The wait time said 20 minutes, but it looked a lot longer!! The lady assured us that it was 20 minutes so me and my mom got in line. Well....she was right! We rode Everest and after that we decided we were tired and would head back to the resort.

On the way back we stopped to take some pictures of the Tree Of Life and saw a big gathering of ducks! It was pretty cool!

We took the bus back and got to the room around 10:13pm. We took showers and got into bed. We had a little snack and soon fell asleep after watching a little TV.

Our first day was over and we would have to wake up early to meet up with my sister (Amanda) and her boyfriend (Blaine) for horseback riding at the Fort Wilderness Campground! Will we make our reservation for the 8:30am ride?!?

Okay so we all woke up around 7:00am and got ready to be at the Fort Wilderness for the morning. We had our ressie for the horseback riding for 8:30am, but we had to be there early(as you will know if you have ever done horseback riding there)This was my 3rd time doing the horseback riding here. Blaine had never done this before so he was a little nervous, but it was alright. LOL

Blaine got a BIG horse! I was surprised they allowed such a big horse on these trails. I had a white horse with the prettiest blue eyes ever!
My horse ended up passing about two people along the way. LOL Let's just say, he was in a hurry! I got him back in line before either of the supervisors noticed!

Right after we got done with the horses, we took a bus back to Trail's End. I do not know what happened to this place?!? It used to be one of our favorites, but the last two times we've been there it hasn't been that great...we were all pretty dissapointed. ):

We all decided to take the boat over to the Magic Kingdom. Little did we know that this would be a bigggggg mistake. It was HOT and CROWDED!
The main reason for even going to MK was for the Main Street Electrical Light Parade. (OMG may i say, I LOVE this parade! I saw it when I was very little and remembered some, but it def. brought back memories.)

We went on a lot of rides...such as...POTC,The Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, TTA, Stitch's Great Escape, The Laugh Floor, We rode around on the train, The Tiki Birds, and the Tea Cups.

I think we did pretty good for it being so crowded!
