Just back from Yacht club any ?????

We just got back about an hour ago from 4 nights yacht club. We really enjoyed the hotel as usual. But the crowds at the parks were ridiculous!! Now I usually go on off times so I am not use to this at all!!!!!!!!!!!
I will NEVER go to the parks in July again!!!

I had asked about the buses--and someone said they no longer stop at all the Epcot resorts, just the YC/BC. Is this still true?

We have stayed at both many times and we just prefer the Yacht side maybe it is the colors Im not sure!!

We really love this resort! We had a standard room but it faced the quite pool it was room 1076 it was great!!!

9-10pm It is the best pool!!!

Oh ya!!! It got REALLY crowded!! Never will I go to the parks in July again!!!! I would go and just do SAB!!!

We were there once before and liked it. I have ruled out concierge after reading comments at DIS, mainly to save money.

We stayed in a standard room but friends of ours were staying in the comador suite so we got to enjoy the concierge while there and I have to say I saw a difference in the food compared to when we had stayed previous, but it could just be hit or miss. one thing we liked is they had beer out now you did not have to ask for it.

WONDERFUL!!!!! My favorite dinner we had!!!! I have the DDE and it really helps on dinners like this.
It is worth the money if you are a filet lover like me!!

We were thinking about going at the end of July for for the weekend for DH's birthday. We always go during off times and never in the summer so my fear is exactly what you said above - yikes! Would you go again if you didn't go to the parks? Also, are all the hotels and restaurants and Stromalong Bay crowded too like the parks? Which one was more crowded - YC or BC? Is YC a quiet or noisy hotel? Are the rooms quiet? We've stayed at BWI and loved it, but I want to try YC or BC. Can you see Epcot from any of the rooms at YC? If so, is it only water view rooms? Thanks for any info.

Yes I would go and just do the hotel but NEVER to the parks again only because we live so close we do not have to go this time of year.

I felt the Yc side was a bit more quite. We had a great room 1076 it was very quite!! Sab was really crowded on Monday so we went to the quite pool but the rest of the week we had no problem getting a chair.,
