Just back from WL and it was great!

I'm glad that you had a great time! We are staying at the WL for the first time this Jan. I can't wait. Right now I booked a std view room, but I am considering changing it to a woods view...I guess I will just wait and see once the 2008 pkg. rates come out. That's nice that you got upgraded!

Free upgrades are always nice! If we had spent more time in the room maybe we would have enjoyed the view more. You'll love this place from the min you first drive up!

We had a woods view room this May--we didn't really upgrade to it but it was what our TA could get the good deal on. I certainly wouldn't pay extra for woods view (we do live in the country and have woods view every day we're at home, though). We were on the 2nd floor, which we liked, and we could see the higher Wishes fireworks at night. But, our "woods view" was of what we called the "cess pool." It was some sort a bubbling pond with some scum around the edges. Sure glad I didn't pay extra for that!

Only real problems at the parks I seen were the Brazillian groups taking over a couple of days. Overall we had a great time. We're already in the planning stages for our next trip and we cant wait! Any questions? Thanks

Glad you had a great trip. We just returned home from our 9 day trip last Sunday. The tour groups.... the tour groups. First time we have seen these, but first time we have been to Disney in the summer.

Glad you had a nice trip and your daughter is better. We miss Disney already and are trying to figure out when to go back!

Thanks for starting this thread as I have a few more questions.

1. What time were you allowed to check in?
2. Did you go to MK during the morning extra magic hours? If so, did you get there by boat or bus? We've never stayed on site before and would like to utilize the EMH.

Yes shes a lot better. We're doing the same thing right now in trying to figure out when to go back. I'm pressing for next year again. Just have to try and look ahead to next summer and see whats possibly going on. We've only been back 2 days and if I had the chance to get the family in the car right now we would be on our 8hr trip back to Disney.

You're very welcome. Just glad to answer them. On the way down we spent the night in Daytona Beach so when we woke up we only had a little ways to go so we checked in at apx 10am Sat morning. Our room wasnt available so we parked the car and went to Magic Kingdom. I called back at about 12:30 and the room was ready and since we already had our room cards we went straight to it. We used the boat for Magic Kingdom for EMH. We also used the boat to the Comtemporary to catch the monorail to Epcots EMH too.

We are leaving in 12 1/2 days (but who's counting) and staying at WL! We can't wait!
