Just Back from WL/AKL May 16 - 25th!

We had an awesome time on our trip, thanks to the wonderful advice and tips from this Board!

Which did you like better, AKL or WL? We just love WL but decided to branch out and will be trying AKL in December. I hope you tell me I won't regret it! What kind of view did you get at AKL?

wdwnut2 - I had a very difficult time deciding which hotel I liked better. DBF had no problems, he loved AKL. He upgraded us from standard to Savannah view as a surprise. We were on the Sunset Savannah, 3rd floor, which had a good view. But he also double-upgraded us to concierge the last 2 nights so we could do the Sunrise Safari. We got Arushu Savannah view 5th floor that was just the best! I much preferred this over the sunset Savannah. Lots of animals in both savannahs. I love the cozy, homey feel of WL. I was very comfortable there. But I also loved the expansiveness and animals at AKL. I'll have a hard time deciding next time! Sorry, I guess I wasn't much help!
