Just back last night.

I went scrapbook shopping because all our LSS have closed.

Tags 'n Things is going out of business and was not open even the posted hours.

Scrappy Boutique in the Terrace at Florida Mall was quite wonderful and had many of the newest things. They also have a huge computer setup that prints photos AND wide format pages.

name forgotten in the Town Center shopping center on John Young has lots of crops and classes and quite a bit of product - not quite as nice as Scrappy Boutique

MouseMemories in Kissimmee - WOW! Their website does NOT do justice to what they have - THE most incredible Zatara theme park papers - the designer is in the process of working on "Big Thunder Mountain" papers right now. I was blown away by the page kits, selection, embellishments, safari paper, seaworld papers, sports papers, yada yada - I never looked close enough at the website to find all this stuff - and spent $$$ and then when my room mate arrived, and I showed her what I'd bought, she wanted to go out there and I spent some more $$.

The owner said something about a bunch of die cut thingys coming out for quick kutz or sizzix or something like that.

There were more kits for cards, journals, pages in that Eco-Africa handmade papers available in AKL and AK shops.

There were new paper kits with stickersheets, and a set of Pooh punches available in all the shops, including a halloween set. New sticker packages with rolls of stickers.

That's about all I remember. Happy shopping!

Great Detective work Linda!!!

I want to take a road trip the mousememories next time we are down there.

Thanks for the info!

I didn't even know mousememories was a real store. I'm going to have to add that to my shopping stops next time I'm down there.

Thanks for posting! What's the address for Mouse Memories? I have ordered from them several times but have never been to their store. Too bad the store at DTD couldn't be more like them!

Ain't that the truth, or order from them. It's not like it has to go far to DTD. I really wish WDW would expand their supplies.

I agree when we went to DTD I was so excited about going to mousememories I couldn't wait to get there. When I got there I was extremely disappointed. It was nothing like I thought. :confused3

Thanks for all the great reviews.....I was at Tags & Things in October and the owner said she was really hoping to sell the store. She said that some family issues came up that required them to sell the store. I agree about Mouse Memories. Another thing I found out about Mouse Memories is that if you set up an account on Mouse Memories you can create a "wish list" and then when you go to the store, they can print it out for you...or if you are short on time, you can place your order and advise that you will pick it up and when and they will have your order all ready for you and they will refund your shipping charges when you pick it up.

I have added Scrappy Boutique to my To Do list for our upcoming WDW trip.

According to my latest CK magazine....the name of the store is Piktails Your Memories in a Scrapbook. It located in Hunter's Creek in the Publix Shopping Centre 4900 Town Center Blvd 407-218-4630
here's their website: www.scrapbookparlour.com

That's IT! PikTails! They were very friendly and nice and had quite a good sized crop space. She invited me to check out their calendar before I come down next time and come out to crop.

MouseMemories is an on-line store first - so what you're really visiting is their warehouse - with product as far up as you can reach, but no fancy displays or crop space or classes, and not many general scrap supplies or tools, although I did see they have a modest selection of adhesives, and a couple of cutter, I forget which brand.

The easiest way to get there is not out 192 (too many long lights).

The easiest way is to go straight out Osceola Parkway to Rt 17. Turn right on Rt 17 and go south to 192 (its a few miles). Turn Left on 192. Less than a mile, Damon St is on the left, just before the Racetrak gas station (don't be fooled by the abandoned checkerboard building - it's shortly after you see that)

Hey Linda, sounds like you had a great time! I didn't know that mouse memories had a store either. We usuallly don't stray too far from WDW, but maybe I will be able to squeeze in a visit on our trip in Feb. Mickey&JoshNut thanks for the info on the wish list, that could save a lot of time too.
