Just back from WDW. DL next?

Now I am itching to take a long weekend to DL.
Are the crowds as heavy as hear about them being at WDW? (Last week at WDW was great, crowd-wise) but rather chilly some days.)
What are the main differences bewteen the two?

We just got back from WDW in December and now we have already made resv's for DL and we will be staying at the GC theme park view. We cannot wait.

DL is more compact. You feel the crowds more then you would at WDW on their worst day. The best time to go and not feel the crowds is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Try to avoid Friday and Saturday if you can its the crowdest during that time. Also (like WDW) avoid holidays. Also try to avoid the February, March and April due to California Adventure is opening up and EVERYONE wants to see the new park.
