Just back from Vistana Resort

Just back from 5 nights at Vistana REsort. We had a 2 bedroom in the Cascades and loved it! It was very convenient easy to get too. It's just down the road from a Publix we went to on the first day and an easy and fast ride to WDW. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful, as was the decor, two double beds in the 2nd bedroom and the kitchen, which was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. Any questions let me know

Welcome back, Lisa! I stayed there earlier this year and I agree, it's a GREAT place! We've stayed just about everywhere in Orlando and I have to say, it's up there with the top TWO!

I am so glad you enjoyed your visit. We've owned there for 14 years and have visited many times and have never been disappointed. We now own DVC pts and we make more visits to WDW. We use Vistana to trade or use it over Easter and it's great.

Hi, we just booked our trip for Vistana over Spring Break and are really excited! I have never stayed offsite, but we now have 4 kids, need the extra room, and our travel agent gave it great reviews. We have requested the Cascades section, and a first floor villa since our kids are small. Did you go to the sales presentation? If so, how was it? I am interested in what they have to offer, but am unwilling to spend precious vacation hours on a sales pitch.... Would love to hear what your experience was!

I wouldn't worry about not being on the first floor if it means not getting the section you want. We were on the 4th and it was no trouble, it didn't seem that any room was too far from the elevators. As for the sales pres. we didn't do it. They offered and said it was $50 plus discounted tickets or $65.00. The last two days when we hadn't gone yet there was a 'special' that we would get $100.00 but we opted not too since they want both the husband and the wife for several hours.

I took the tour but was told then (April) that they were only giving the tour to olders who wanted to upgrade. Since I rented from an owner and there was some confusion as to whether I was an owner or not, they offered me the tour and the money. When they found out I was NOT the owner and what they were doing, they let me go after ten minutes. The money was given to me BEFORE the tour, $50.
