Our flight took off at 9:20am August 11th and be arrived in Orlando a little after 11. We checked in with the Magical Express and only had to wait for a bus for maybe ten minutes at the most. We hopped on the bus and we were off.
Upon arrival to POFQ there was a bit of a line at the check in desk. A nice woman (I wish I could remember her name) came over from concierge, asked if we were all part of a group, and told us she could help us over at the concierge desk. She checked our reservations and...gasp we weren't all together. Nate and B's room and Cyndrah's room seemed to be right next to each other but seeing as how my boyfriend and I had done our reservations way more far in advance than the other three we guessed our request didn't get posted with theirs. No worries though, without even asking the woman got on the phone and got everything squared away to where we were all right next to each other. She gave everyone but myself 1st visit pins (seeing as how I'm the only one that had been to Disney before) and myself a birthday pin and announced we were on our way.
We had previously decided that we would all go to DisneyQuest and Downtown Disney on our first day just to get into the Disney spirit (like I wasn't already

) We had the park hopper water park fun and more tickets so we were all set. We hopped on a bus to Downtown Disney (we only had to wait but a few minutes for a bus our whole trip) and proceeded to browse, shop, and make our way to DisneyQuest.
Once in DTD I found my Mickey Ears of choice, the Pink Minnie Ears. Cyndrah bought the top hat (otherwise known as the groom ears hat) mickey ears. The boys had their hearts set on the Sorcerer Mickey Ears hat, but it was no where to be found in World of Disney.
I asked one of the women at World of Disney where I could get my ears embroidered and she told me to head down to the Disney Christmas store near the beginning of Disney Marketplace where I believe it was $8 dollars for my name to be embroidered. We were also informed at that time they were out of stock on the sorcerer ears but to check back as they got shipments in everyday. So we dropped my ears off and headed to Disney Quest.
All in all Disney Quest was quite a disappointment. The make your own roller coaster was cool (Cyberspace Mountain) but we became bored very quickly which is surprising considering the boys are huge video game players. But I'm sure this is something we will skip next time.
That's all I can fit in for now.
