We had a lovely stay at the Polynesian from 11-30 through 12-7. We stayed in Fiji and loved it. Our room was 3309 and it faced Luau Cove. We were treated to a full view of the beach and a partial view of the lagoon. We could see most of the Grand Floridian and could watch the monorail coming and going. Although we had a bit of a walk to get to the Great Ceremonial House and pool...you must walk the length of the longhouse to go around the marina because 3309 is the second to last room in the longhouse, we gladly traded it for the privacy of the room and of this beach. It was great to have only a short walk downstairs to watch the fireworks with no one else around. The drums from the Luau could clearly be heard through our closed patio doors, but they gave alot of atmosphere. The room was comfortable and spacious. The cast members were always helpful and welcoming. We'd certainly return to this resort if given the chance. I'd love to see the torch lighting ceremony one more time and to get to stay in the Volcano Pool a little longer...it wasn't really great pool weather during our stay, but I made sure I went down the slide at least once even though I was freezing. If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer whatever I can. Barbara
