Just back from the Poly. We were there from 10/19 to 10/24. We LOVED it! I had requested Samoa, but we ended up with Rarotonga, room 2814 looking out at the quiet pool. At first I was sad we ended up in a 2nd floor room, no balcony or patio, but later decided it was better we didn't have either. My kids are 8, 5 and 2 and I wouldn't have wanted to try and keep the 2 yearold off the balcony all the time. We really loved this location. Right next to the GCH (which was convenient for check-out during the hurricane!
). The walk to the TTC was only about 5 or 10 minutes.
We ate at Ohana our first night and at Captain Cooks once for lunch. Never made it to Kona though.
My kids LOVED the pool, especially DD2. The zero entry is great. She was so happy she could just walk in and not have anyone have to hold her all the time. She also loved the little fountain area off to the side of the pool. We spent alot of time in there! DD8 really liked that she could touch pretty much everywhere in the pool and there was no "deep end".
I am definitely spoiled now and I don't know if I could ever stay off the monorail line!
Well maybe when the kids are older and more into Epcot and MGM, but for now, I think it's the Poly for us!!
Any questions, just ask!!
