Hi,

Our first trip to the Poly will be in January. Can't wait!!

Are the rooms in the Tokelau renovated yet?

What did you think of the walk to the monorail/"noisy pool" and GCH? We will be pushing two strollers all day and don't want to walk too far at the resort if we can help it! :rotfl:

Thanks for the great update!

No, the Tokelau rooms are not done yet. I don't know exactly when work is planned for them. I'm sure if Steve is reading this, he will respond with the answer. If not, go to his (Tikiman) website. I honestly can't say I found the walk to be bad at all wherever we went in the resort. Volcano Pool and GCH are sort of centrally located. The walk looks worse on the map than it really is. Monorail is on the second floor of the GCH. We would grab a quick bite at Captain Cooks and off we would go. A word of advice; if you want Epcot, it's much faster to take the walkway to the TTC then taking the monorail from the resort. If you take the resort monorail you have to do the full circuit and than switch at the TTC for the Epcot monorail. It takes a lot of time! The boat trip to the MK is fun also and not that long. The Poly isn't as spread out as I thought it would be and I don't think you will have a problem at all, even with the kids. Have a great trip! :goodvibes
