Just back from the Niagara Falls Dis meet

Great time at the Rainforest Cafe. It was so nice to meet everyone, we had a great turnout with 32 Disers. Thanks to everyone who travelled a distance for the meet. Thanks to Niagara2(Doreen) for making the reservations. Thanks to Sandra C for the kids goodie bags and the chocolate Disney pops. It was great to meet sammi, Taryn, SNowark, michelle, ruth, Cathy, Katholyn, Scott, Dsnyfan and all your families. Hope to do it again sometime.
PS-remember ladies our lunch after we return from holidays. no one else understands the Disney blues like we do, Thanks everyone, Maryann

Yes a great time! It was so nice to meet everyone.I am even more excited about the upcoming trip. Thanks for the goodie bags Sandra C the boys at home are enjoying them. We have a Disney Sing along video on just for fun! i won't forget about lunch after the trips.it sounds like many of us are going this fall! Thanks Taryn for the post cards.

What great fun at RFC in NF today! We were very happy to see the DISer's we've met before and it was wonderful meeting the new DISer's! My dd had such a great time with Michelle's dd! I hope we can do it again soon! Thanks to all who planned the meet. Happy to see the weather was good! Looking forward to the pix! ºoº

We had a most enjoyable lunch with the most enjoyable people around - DIS'ers!!!! Thanks to all that attended. We had a grand time and loved talking Disney with all of you. Thanks to Mary Ann for the planning and inviting, to Sandra for the gift bags....from one mom to another, you sure had the right idea to keep the kids occupied and your kids were really great and cute at that too!! Also to Scott, your family is beautiful and I could not keep my eyes off that beautiful 4 week old daughter, and to Sammi - maybe someday our paths will cross at Bahama Breeze, and to Kim - thanks for the reminder that I am in the world for the first day of the DIS convention....and to my DH who wanted to know how in the world I got to know all these wonderful Disney Nuts like us, next time I am online check out what I am reading.....it will be messages from people like the wonderful ones we got to share a meal and meet today. To Webmaster Cathy who remembered us from a few years ago from Dreams, to Nativetexas who I wish we had more time to talk, to well, the rest of the crew.......more Disney memories and hopefully new friendships. We really have to do this again when Disney is in Niagara Fallls for the Festival Of Lights in Late November.......wait I will be in WDW!!!

What a wonderful day, getting to meet so many DISer's. Some of you I've known from chat and others from your great DIS posts.

Thanks, MaryAnn and Niagara2 for planning this great meet today. It was so much fun. The very best part of the entire day was that I <b>found</b> all of you!!!!

I didn't even care that Scottwdw bopped me on the head. It was a friendly "bop" anyway.

SandraC, you're so creative to make those little packages for the kids and those wonderful chocolate Disney character pops for all of us adults.

I just had a ball talking with everyone. I wish I had more time to spend with each of you. <b><i>I know.....</b></i> someone plan another meet....<b>quick</b>, I promise I'll be there.

Hi folks!

Just a little thank you to maryann and Niagara2 for arranging the DIS meet today. I really had a great time and felt sooo comfortable with you all! It was so nice to put "faces" to names and the kids were so great too. Sandra your little guy was just fine (and a real cutie), the kids were really well behaved.

I've sent my photos over to Snowwark (as she and John are more puter litterate) and they'll be getting things figured out and posted soon.

Baboo I've read all your posts here and wished I could have met you too! Maybe next time.

Niagara2 tell your DH Sean that he was a very nice luncheon companion!(and your 2 boys are sooo cute!) lol and yes maybe one day we'll meet at the Bahama Breeze for a Bahamarita! lol or better still on a Disney Cruise!

Katholyn it was a real pleasure to meet you and your DH today....so glad you finally made a Canadian meet! lol

I can honestly say that it simply amazes me that 32 perfect strangers can come together and hit it off so well with one common interest...Disney! I have enjoyed making alot of new friends today......thanks everyone!

Being so new to the Dis board, it was so wonderful to meet such a great bunch of people today. I had a wonderful time hearing about all your Disney experiences and hope someday to be able to give some first hand advice to other DISers too at our next Meet. Well thanks everyone Lisa and I had a great day meeting everyone and Paige had a blast making new friends alas I don't think Madison will remember much of it but we will tell her all about it when she gets older you know at 4 weeks old they really don't do much. I hope to have our pictures back this week and send them to everyone that wants some. And Sandra Paige would like us to thank you for all the great stuff in the Disney bootle bag she recieved she thought that was the best. Scott we will have to go see a hockey game in T O this winter if you are up for it. Now to everyone again thanks for making this a great day we all really enjoyed it. If I may speak for everyone that attended it was alot of fun and we will have to do it again soon only have a bit more time to meet everyone time seemed to go by just way to fast today. I also wanted to post about the forgotten Master Card at the Rainforest so if you are missing one from today it is with the management of the restaurant.

What a great time! Enjoyed meeting and talking with all of you. The food was good, the goodie bags, candy and postcards were great fun.

DSNY FN already emailed you a list of games! Would love to get to do one of them. Montreal will be better!

My only complaint was how hard it was to get in and around Niagara Falls during the height of the tourist season. They need more traffic cops or better systems or something. Would love to meet there again but a Fall or Spring time would be a lot less hectic.

WOW!! Sounds like everyone had a BALL!!! I wish I could have gone. I haven't met any of you before, yet I've been part of the DIS boards since Febuary. Maybe the next one! I live just west of Toronto so I'm fairly local! Looking forward to seeing some pics!

My family was disappointed that we didn't make it to either DIS meet, but we're hoping we can all get together in November at the Disney Show and Character meal is Niagara Falls. I just checked out the pics on CB... It sure looks like you all had a fun time. Thanks for posting the photos!
