Took DD 14 and two of her friends to the Jonas Brothers appearance on Much Musics show Much On Demand this afternoon.:scared1:

Lots of screaming teenage girls, surprisingly some teenage boys and women in their 20's crying.:confused3

They look like nice young men. The signed lots of autographs and posed for pictures.:thumbsup2

My daughter officially hates your daughter :)
She is apparently going to be Mrs. Nick Jonas in a few years. LOL

I vote Ham Ham for Mother of the Year! ;)

I'm a dude.

But being mother of the year would be quite the honour.

I watched a bit of that on TV today!! Quite a crazy scene!!!

We watched it on tv too. How long did you have to wait and did you get any pictures? Our girls were hoping they were going to come to WPG but I'm pretty sure that's just a dream for them:rotfl2:

We arrived downtown around 12:30. The line wrapped 2 city blocks.

Girls waited in line and I went to see if there were alternative places to watch the show form.
Found a place on the west sidewalk on John street from the stage. John street and the east sidewalk were closed to the public. Girls relocated to there

I left them there and then headed off with my nine year old to do some shopping. 5 minutes later phone rang security moved everyone from the sidewalk. Went back and the girls returned to the line.

Realizing the futility of waiting in line for a spot inside the stage area. Girls relocated again to a barrier on the south side of John street.

I took DD9 to drop her off at DW work. Phone rang girls were told to move again.
I returned and we then relocated to Queen Street. Huge crowds, lot of police and security kept telling folks to move along but a critical mass of folks were forming.

Leaving the girls I was off to scope things out
I noticed that between us and the stage were the camera platforms that would impede our view. I tried to walk down the open sdewalk on John street but the police would not let me through.

Heading down Queen one street west to Peter I was able to cut down a alley I was able to get back on the open side walk on John heavy with police presence not letting people stop at all. I notice a pub on the open side of John street and a small area of a couple of hundred square feet in front of an office building.

I went back the girls told them to come with me. We walked up to the barrier stopping folks from going down John street. I told the police officer that we were off to eat at the pub. He let us through. We had a bit to eat and at 4:50 popped back up onto the area in front of an office building and were no more than25 feet from the stage.

At 5:00 the Joans Bros. arrived and my ear drums exploded.

We had an awesome view of the whole interview.

I work in the chum building and it was crazy all morning.
I'm so amazed with all the parents who slept the night on the street, WOW!! what we do for our kids.
Taking my DD to the concert tonight, we watched the interview last night and I don't think she got any sleep.

Ham Ham for Dude of the Year! :cool2: My DH would not have done this and I know for sure my Dad wouldn't have, back in the day - you are definitely awesome!

I wish they would come to Vancouver! My daughter is just dying to see them. I would have been one of the crazy parents sleeping there all night the night before so she got a front row spot at the show! LOL

:cheer2: Your wife does know!

Ham Ham's Appreciative Wife :worship:

I work across the street from the CHUM building, and it was almost non-stop screaming through the entire day. It made for an interesting and somewhat disruptive work day. Leaving the office was a challenge due to the all of the teens and tweens lined up outside, and trying to get past the barricades. I honestly don't remember ever getting that worked up about any performer when I was that young... Looks like a good time was had by all.
